Overview

The Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar is crafted with a beautiful solid-walnut body. The no-nonsense guitar's set walnut neck is carved to a fast SlimTaper profile and topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

The walnut Epiphone Studio gives you all the great tone and sustain you expect from a set-neck Les Paul guitar but without all the fancy cosmetics. Epiphone loads the walnut LP studio with an Alnico Classic humbucker pickup in the neck position and a high-output Alnico Classic Plus humbucker in the bridge position. Use the individual pickup Volume and Tone controls and a 3-way select toggle to get the sounds you want.

Hardware on the limited-edition Les Paul walnut guitar is a handsome and spartan nickel. That includes the Grover tuning machines, and the new Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece. The bridge and tailpiece enhance tone and sustain, and they remain secured to the walnut Epiphone Studio even with the strings removed.

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Walnut Electric Guitar:

this guitar is an outstanding idea on so many levels. walnut is very nearly a dopplganger to mahogany, but with more upper mid and highs.being far less open grained relative to mahogany.the finish doesn't have to be so thick as with mohsgsny

INVESTMENT GRADE GUITAR!

By SC5

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Walnut Electric Guitar:

Epiphone makes excellent guitars, based on my experience of both building and playing professionally. Other than looking cool onstage and sounding great, some instruments actually appreciate (grow in value)over time. The U.S. dollar is falling and imported goods are getting more expensive as a result. Some foreign products will grow in value, though a lot of it is gueswork. Maybe I'm making excuses for myself, but I feel like my spare cash is better kept in the form of a good guitar than in paper money that's getting more worthless by the day. I also get to PLAY the guitar while playing with paper money gets old fast.

Sweet Walnut Action

By Charith

from Austin, TX

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Walnut Electric Guitar:

I've played this guitar, and I'll be honest and say I picked it up off of the guitar wall solely based on her looks... But WOW does she deliver! Fantastically tight and bright sounding, which is so atypical of the LPs. Like the others have said, it's no Gibson, but it has a character all it's own. It's a special guitar, and I highly suggest you give it a shot if you're in the market for this kind of guitar. I'll be trading in my Epi LP Custom for this baby!

This Guitar Is Worth Every Penny

By Charlie Green

from Amarillo, Texas

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Walnut Electric Guitar:

When i first got home from buying this guitar at guitar center, i thought it would just collect dust and use it when my fender starts having problems. I never knew this would soon become my main guitar! This guitar gives a sweet smooth sound when you want it, and a loud thunder sound when you need it. It may not be a Gibson Les Paul, but if i close my eyes i cant really tell the difference. The neck is beautiful, fits right into your hands, and the pickups deliver a sound like no other. i would highly pick this guitar up if you have a chance!

Grunge Perfection

By Michael

from St. Petersburg, Florida

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Walnut Electric Guitar:

Normally, I tend to shy away from Les Pauls, but when I saw it's perfect Walnut body, I just had to try it. The neck is nothing like the usual LP's I've played. It was fast and thin. Plus the pickups sounded so fat. The instant I strummed, all I could hear was "grunge". STP, AIC, Pearl Jam, all sounded incredible on it. I'm really glad I played it, Now I"m off to penny-pinch my way to it.
