I have owned many guitars in my lifetime...My favorites being the Stratocaster and the Les Paul...of course! Times heve changed and I was down to one guitar, A 2006 American Standard Stratocaster. (which I love) BUT...Having owned three Les Pauls in my lifetime--All Gibson, I wanted one, but could not afford one. so I thought! Then, I see this Epiphone Les Paul Studio deluxe limited edition...I took a chance and I am glad I did...This particular Guitar is almost every bit as worthy as it's Gibson counterpart...There is not ONE thing I can say that is negative about this guitar so far...Now--I have both...which I think every guitarist should have as these two guitars are the industry standards of guitars...Don't hesitate to purchase this guitar, it will not let you down in ANY way...For this price point, it doesn't get any better in the Les Paul Dept. In fact, This has (at least for now) become my main guitar)...It is totally Gig Worthy, and as far as I'm concerned, every bit as good as the basic Gibson Les Paul...I know...I had Three of them. I did not expect this much guitar at this price point. You will feel the same way I'm sure...Do it! You'll be so glad you did!

okay look. I bought this guitar to replace another epiphone. I bought it in alpine white. When i got it, it sounded amazing! the pickups had a very nice rich, deep tone to them, and it went well with my line 6 amp. but the qhuality of the guitar??... NOT GOOD. not only was one of the tone knobs loose (i tried to fix it but it was broken) but the gold finish was already faded on the pickups when i PULLED IT OUT OF THE BOX. ive had it for one week, and half of the gold is gone. so if your getting this guitar, go for the red finish, not alpine, and beware the quality...

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

I have never played a guitar in this price range that plays or sounds as well. I played several actual Gibsons on the day I bought the Studio Deluxe and the Epiphone played better than many of them. You cannot tell the difference in ton between a Gibson either. Some people are claiming problems with the tuners, which isn't something I have had an issue with. My only complaint, was the neck had a pretty good back bow from the factory, which kept the action from being dropped all the low. I spent two days adjusting the truss rod, putting some relief in the neck, changing the strings to 8s, and lowering the action down. Now, the action is only at 2mm at the 22nd pickup and less than .005" at the 1st fret--with no fret-buzz, whatsoever.

My wife definitely can tell when I fire this Les Paul up through my 75w Line-6 amplifier versus my American Strat. She says, "it sounds better than any guitar you have ever owned". We have been married for 15 year, so she has seen dozens of guitars in my hands, and giving this Epiphone it's props says a lot.

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

I've bought at least six guitars in the last two years trying to find the "right" one. Everything from other Epiphone LP's to Fenders to PRS, but none of them felt perfect for me. I recently purchased another guitar and was in the store getting a set up on it. As I was wandering around I happened to notice this guitar at the very back of the line of other Epiphones. It was stunning in the wine red!! I picked it up and strummed it a few times and it felt PERFECT!! Not too heavy, but beefy enough to let you know it was there. The neck is awesome. I plugged in and was blown away. The Alnico Classics have a beautiful warm, rich tone, which is exactly what I've been looking for. I had them stop the set up on the other guitar and promptly traded it in for this beauty!! If you are in the market for an inexpensive(but high quality) Les Paul look no further than this guitar!!

Worth a LOT more, do not delay, get it!

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

I have been playing, recording, and enjoying guitars for nearly 25 years. Bang for the buck, this cannot be beat! I have recorded with this, played live with this guitar and sold my favorite Custom Ibanez RG 470 after buying this! Initial factory setup and strings are less than optimal (no big deal). I set it up with my favorite Super Slinky 9s and dropped the action almost to the point of getting fret buzz. Running this monster through a Boss GT8 effects board and Fender ProRoc 1000 1/2 stack this guitar is right at home with hard rock to smooth jazz. Fit and finish are excellent, I cannot say enough about this.

      For the average, Joe Rocker

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

The first thing you notice is the great design and beauty of the guitar, I got the wine red, stunning from head to toe. The pickups are nice and do a good job, great rock sound with crunch and distortion, it has very nice sustain, nice and easy bridge to replace the strings as well. The neck has a great design and layout for nice smooth finger action, gotta love those inlays. This guitar in my opinion is for those who are serious about their guitar playing as a hobby and getting good smooth play and sound but not wanting to spend a fortune on a professional guitar, I use this to jam in my apartment and think this guitar fits that description to the T. So far, so good, I've only owned it for a week now but I'm liking it a lot so far...

      Great Guitar

      By Jason Sowersby

      from NY

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

This guitar is absolutely stunning in the wine red finish. It looks amazing and also plays amazing. This is my second guitar my first being a jackson dinky. This guitar is pretty heavy compared to the jackson but you get used to it pretty quick. The pick ups are pretty weak for metal or hard rock but sound very good clean. I'm gonna put some emgs in it to give it the metal sound. Overall I think this guitar is pretty solid and well built. The only annoying thing is the made in china sticker on the back of the neck and it doesnt come off very easily. Other than the weak pick ups for metal and that annoying sticker this guitar is amazing and is comfortable even after hours of playing. Eventually I would love to get a real les paul but this is the next best thing.

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

iv had this ax for a month or so and i still love it. the tuners keep tune. and the neck pickup sounds awesome with tons of gain. the quality was perfect and inspected in the usa. the finish was flawless and there was not any striped screws . my ibenz and my fender both had striped screws so i had to make sure. would i buy this product again? yes would i recommend it to a friend? yep id let them try it out and fall in love with it. i got the wine red one and it looks really good glossy finish and you can see the wood grain just looking at it makes me want to play it they really should put a new pic up of it .

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Studio Deluxe Electric Guitar:

Ive been playing guitar for 10 years now a and im only 18 and I just bought this guitar not to long ago cause im a fan of Les Paul's, and once i set it up to my liking i fell in love with it. Even know i own a Epiphone Les Paul Standard, Custom, and a 1966 reissue G400, Ibanez SA isteries, and a Jackson soloist, i barely even play those guitars anymore ever since i got this one,the built quality is amazing, the only flaw and its not the biggest deal in the world is the tuners, i give them a 4.8 out of 5, but everything else is perfect. I didnt mean to show off all my guitars btw hahaha
