I just got this one and I luv it. Can't stop looking at it and I can't stop playing it. The woman in my life is getting jealous of this guitar. Great sound, tone, look and price. You won't be sorry with this one. And go figure, after I purchased it, I was watching some old Hendrix footage and he had the Gibson version of this exact model.
For those who know there rock history this is an early Sabbath guitar. It has good action holds tune well even with some use one the vibrato unit. Any one who collects or is looking for a good jam guitar i say go for it. The triple pickups are a bonus.
while its actually not a bad guitar.. its just that, for the price you can get much better. i don't own it, i've played it for about 10 min's at a guitar center and i must say, its probably on the top 5 list of best looking guitars i've ever seen.. but the sound is just to mediocre, i mean, really. i wouldn't want to go on stage with this hot guitar and then not impress with a average tone coming out of it. its for collectors and posers.
Wow, I could not be more please with this guitar. I play all sorts of music, you have too being a music theory major, and this guitar can do it all. But for all you heavy players, I was very happy with the distortion that came out of this. When I played it I also played Synster Gates custom schecter and an Ibenez RG1570 and I thought this baby had just as much low end and lead "ability" then the other two. Plus, my god, the look of this guitar is absolutley amazing. Very happy with my purchase and recomend it to players of all skill levels.
This guitar is just phenominal. It has an amazing sound. Those 57' Alnicos do it justice. It's fretboard was like butter. Although I may not have the best finish, it still looks hot. I have the version that doesn't have the tremolo, but it is still great.
