I bought this guitar about a month ago and I have no regrets. I did a lot of research before it bought it, and found many mixed emotions about it. To be honest, the price initially scared me into thinking this guitar was no good. I couldn't decide if I wanted to save my money for a more expensive guitar because I'm not exactly a beginner, but I'm also not a guitar pro. It turned out to be perfect for me because it sounds like an expensive guitar and it was cheap! This guitar exceeded my expectations, and it really should be priced higher. In my opinion, the action is perfect. Not too high, not too low. It really sounds beautiful too. If you're even thinking about buying, buy it now!
I bought this guitar and im loving it, every time you pick a string the sensation that comes from it just seeps in to your mind and make you want more and you wont stop playing for hours on end. It can sound bad if your not using the right strings though. but all in all great for price and well worth it. Its Fun, Comfortable if you have the money get it.
I'm in Afghanistan and received this guitar in the mail after ordering it online. It played great until today. I'm getting really bad buzz on the high E when fretting it on any of the first three frets. It was fine yesterday and then today was the problem. The guitar came with an allen wrench to adjust the truss bar, but there's not a nut anywhere to make the adjustment. The guitar is now nothing more than a piece of junk now as I can't play it.
This guitar has a warm sound and plays excellent. It came set up and only the G string was out of tune WOW. Once again Epiphone delivers on a low cost product that far surpasses expectations.
I bought this guitar as my travel guitar so I wanted something cheap, I got it for a 100 dollars at Guitar Center brand new and the sound kinda blew me away for the price. Recommend over the Jasmine acoustic for sure. Action can be a little high but then again that can work on getting your fingers in shape. Overall, great guitar for price!
Good Guitar however it sounds the same and plays the same as the $99 DR-100. Save the $30 extra bucks and buy the DR-100, then use the $30 to buy a tuner and a case, and some 4 for $1 picks.
