Epi Walnut SG Limited Ed.

By Scott

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition 1966 G-400 Walnut Electric Guitar:

1.) LOOKS : Absolutely flawlessly gorgeous. The glossy natural wood finish & black parts clash in a beautiful way. Limited Edition Epi Custom Shop stamp on back of headstock. 2.) SOUND : A bit hotter than average,.. massive sustain 3.) FEEL : (MINE was) Perfect out of the box. Great action. 1st time I did NOT need to change fact. strings. STAYS IN TUNE. YES. No setup needed. Compared to a bunch of Epis I've owned, I'd say the neck is slimmer than most. For this price its like stealing. They could easily charge DOUBLE. Extremely happy with this fine Epi !

got a tude!

By Buddyhoot

from Milpitas, California

Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition 1966 G-400 Walnut Electric Guitar:

First I would like to say that this guitar is just beautiful! It begs to be picked up and played. Like any guitar you get at a store that's been tried by other people, you'll find that the strings might need changing, but the ones on the guitar are still in decent shape! The body being so narrow is a little neck heavy in my opinion, but it still is very comfortable to play. Definetely a strap on , stand up guitar! This guitar has a tude in the tone and is not recommended for people who want a nice cozy little strumming machine. I played it through three amps and never really got rid of the crunch and really didn't expect too. That's not what this things for! Aggressive tones, gains and sustain!!! This thing keeps on hummin! I was always used to a full body acoustic/electric and it gave my arm a guide for resting and playing, you won't find that here. It's a lot of wrist and you've got to know where the guitar strings are for easier playing. Not for the kiddies!!! Epiphone Rocks!
