I ordered this guitar and got it in five days. I've played it quite a bit since then, and I love the sound. The only thing is that the plastic parts on the body are not very high quality, with little chips or malformation here or there. And the guitar has tiny dings in the paint on the back, not sure if it's shipping damage or not. But other than those things, I love the guitar, and the way it sounds. I have been playing for five years, but only started getting serious recently, and love the way it sounds compared to my old guitar, a Johnson. It has four dials which allow you to change the guitar's sound completely, and back in the flick of a switch. I also love the design and the easy system it has to change the strings. I recommend this guitar for anyone who is starting to get serious or starting to get good, as it has a great sound. Probably a good second guitar.

This guitar is amazing the first six months.
I bought this guitar in November of 2014.
One employer from the guitar center persuaded me to purchase the guitar, telling me things such as the brand Epiphone(especially this guitar) was better than Ibanez guitar that I was looking for.
By the end, I bought the guitar, and I liked so much, until the day when the guitar needs a setup.
I paid almost 300$ including the taxes, but when I come back to the guitar center to set up my guitar one year later, the luthier from the store told me that my guitar had twisted the neck.
To repair all the imperfections of my guitar could cost me around 250$ dollar almost the same prices as new.
When I asked the luthier why the neck was twisted, he answers me back telling me that only happened with junk guitar from small prices. In few words is a piece of junk that cost almost 300 dollars, but the only good thing is the design of a real Les paul.

My recommendation is to wait litle more time to save 200 dollars more and expend the money in other guitar. For example an Ibanez or a Fender Standard made in Mexico have better quality and sound than this guitar.

This is a great guitar, it has the sound and feel of an original Gibson model. If you want a cheaper price on a great Les Paul model, go Les Paul 100.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul 100 Electric Guitar:

This guitar is amazing!!!!!! I started getting lessons when I was about 9 or 10, and i stopped at about 11 and i thought i was getting into something else, when i started playing and i thought, this is a talent and i started playing again at about 13... i played with an acoustic fender for about 6 months and then i started looking for an electric guitar... i found this guitar and i knew i had to have so for my 14th birthday i got it and i have had this for a couple of months and it is fantastic... but if i were to change one thing it would have to be the tuners... they get a little loose and annoying but that is it... this is an AMAZING guitar and i would recommend this to anyone who can play the song sweet child o mine or the song back in black. this is a great beginners guitar and i love it.

Bought the LP 100 in 2014. After 1 yr, the plug-in jack became loose with eventual loss of any sound through amplifier. Took it back to dealer for repair. 6-8 mo later again no sound through the amp.
