Absolute great buy for a first guitar or the Pro's

By Uncle Joey

from Manchester NH.

This is an absolute great buy for a beginner to the pro's. The finish is outstanding the tone quality superb and the action is truely unbelievable for a guitar of this caliber.I love it! (Although it has to go to the grandaughter),but a great instrument for any level of player. I would actually buy it again if the need be. Believe me I checked all around, read reviews and this is the best out there for this price range.

Bang for the Buck - TOUGH to beat

By Tony

from Antioch, IL

I am primarily an electric player, I have a 2004 50th Anniv. Strat, I wanted something to use for the a few songs that I like that just sound better with an acoustic and to dink around with on the patio and stuff so when I ran across the Guitar Center Labor Day sale I said what the heck and ordered it up, when it arrived I was seriously impressed with it. Spent a few minutes tuning up then went to playing it. Great tone and exceeded my expectations by a LOT. Out of the box the intonation was close enough for me to not even bother with and the action is a touch high, which makes it feel like my strat, and that's a good thing. The only negative I can think of on this guitar is that the OEM strings are not so good and should be replaced, I am picking some up on the way home tonite to do just that. This guitar is NOT for smaller players, it is a full sized Dread and is quite big, I'm 6-1 and it takes some getting used to compared to my relatively tiny strat.

Great Guitar for the Money

By David McMillin

from Greenville, SC

This purchase was a gift for someone who wanted to learn to play guitar. In reading other reviews it seemed this was a perfect choice for someone's first guitar. Ban for the buck you can't beat this one. Store where purchased did not have in stock so we had to pay shipping but still way cheaper than a comparable beginner's model. Guitar Store even tuned it before we took it home.
