This hardshell bass case is made to fit Epiphone's Zenith/Triumph II Bass. It has chrome hardware, a locking latch with an included key, and a gold Epiphone logo on the exterior. It's padded, gray plush interior protects your electric bass' finish, plus the Epiphone case has a handy interior compartment for storing your cables, picks, and other bass accessories.
Very well-made TKL case. Has an attractive gray-green plush lining. Standard four-latch design with metal feet so the case can be placed on the ground in various orientations. Comfortable solid padded handle. Epiphone logo in gold on lid. Two minor complaints to go with the praise. There is some minor bubbling in places in the covering material. It was not uniformly pressed flat. I expect these to wear through sooner in time than the rest of the covering material. Also, the case arrived with the locking latch locked. Since the key was in the inside compartment instead on the outside of the case, this presented a problem. Guitar Center said I would have to ship the case back and get another one. Since I needed the case for a gig right away, I had to get creative. I was able to open the case enough at the headstock end to open the compartment door, then tilt the case enough that the bags of silica gel AND the key fell into the body end of the case. I then was able to open that end enough to reach the key, and was able to open. So my suggestion is to place a hard plastic temporary key in the lock for shipping, which can be removed on opening, but will keep the lock from inadvertently locking. Otherwise- it's an excellent case, and I'm well pleased.
