The Epiphone Special-II GT Electric Guitar has the trademark Les Paul shape with a cool worn black finish, a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge with a special V-Trem tailpiece that creates more sustain, and a tone control with an innovative integrated killswitch/tone pot. The Epiphone Special-II GT is also loaded with USA-designed a 650R alnico humbucking neck pickup and a 700T alnico humbucking bridge pickup for classic tone. With its 24-3/4"-scale slim-tapered neck the Epiphone guitar has a smooth feel with great action.

    Just bought this guitar from GC! I'm in love!!!! I've only scratched the surface of learning to play guitar, but man has this thing changed my level from frustrated to infatuated!!!!! I have'nt even taken the time to put the whammy on it yet, and i've had it a month now. It's hard for me to find the desire to attach it yet, havin too much fun the way it is for now!!!! Lovin it!!! Can't thank you enough!!!!!!

  • Awesome Guitar

    I just got this guitar 2 days ago and I love it. I like the fact that it is surprisingly light! I was shocked. When I was at GC, I tried a used Jackson Dinky and an Ltd M-15 both didn't feel right, but when I tried this Special II Gt,it was no contest. The killswitch is also a nice feature on it. I would definitely suggest this guitar from beginners to intermediate players. Great value for a great price. The only downside are the stock strings have a little buzz to them, other than that I have no qualms

  • Darn, too late

    I just got the Epiphone Les Paul Special 2 performance pack thing, and its great!! But now I browse guitar center and learn that, not too long after I bought my guitar, THIS came out. The same exact guitar... but with a WHAMMY this time. Ugh, frustrating to a high degree. But I love my guitar, and with the whammy, I'm guessing this will be 10x better. So those of you, unlike me, who have not bought the earlier model, buy this one, it'll be awesome. No I don't own this guitar, but I gave it 5 stars as a prediction. No criticizing me for posting this review! Just trying to help people with my predilection.
