  • Epiphone Masterpiece

    This guitar is simply AMAZING! It stays in tune for a long time. It sounds GREAT! I got this guitar for my birthday a few months ago and when i played it i was speachless! This is a great starter guitar and it's great for expierienced people. You REALLY should get this guitar!

    The Epiphone SG special is like a blessing to America. This guitar sounds just AMAZING on any song. Try any Nickelback Here and Now songs, any Green Day songs, anything that is not meant for an accoustic guitar. I personally think that Cherry looks best because you can recognize the amazing details, and it doesn't show smudges like Ebony. The only thing that you have to worry about is your neck strap getting caught on the body. The maple fret board looks great too. You can also play on every fret without any interference with the body. This guitar can stay tuned to anything for at least two weeks. I've had this guitar for a few months and am still as excited about it as I was when I first got it. The weight is also light and comfortable, so you shouldn't get tired of it. Most importantly, the quality of this product is just perfect. Thanks for reading this rediculously long but amazingly helpful review!

  • Unexpected quality

    I casually walked into Guitar Center hoping to check out their prices on HSS strats, look around, play a few guitars and get on with my day. As soon as I walked in and saw this SG sitting on the used rack, I knew I couldn't leave the shop without it. I was fortunate enough to find this guitar used and nearing vintage, and boy, does it sing. It can cry the blues, wail the rock and hit everything in between pitch-perfect. When I pick up this guitar, I can feel my music in it's neck and body, and I can have the confidence that it will deliver the pure tone and playability of the standard Les Paul with the mobility and lightweight body similar to strats, and all for the price of a Squire.
