NEW REVIEW - The Epiphone that gives ESP Vipers a run for their money!
This guitar is unbeliveable! I didnt even know about it untill I went to my local guitar center. It caught my eye like a diamond in the rough. This guitar is absoutly loaded with top notch hardware & features like Grover machine heads, Tonepros bridge, top of the line active EMG pickups, silky-smooth satin finished binded neck, 24 frets, unique lighting bolt inlays, quilt top mighdnight ebony finish. Honestly I was a little sceptical of it being an epiphone, until the second I played it. I own a USA Gibson SG Classic and as much as I hate to admit it this guitar is better. If this exact same guitar said Gibson on the headstock it would easily be double the price and it would still be worth every penny! I dont care If your a beginner or a professional musician, if you like sg's & like to play metal, buy it.

Amazing!
I just recently bought this guitar, and wow, i was blown away at its sound! It has a nice crisp tone, pickups are extremely nice (sick sustain), and its neck is extremely nice and slick. The all around performance of this guitar is astounding! Now to move on to the looks. Lets just say that the pictures on this sight DO NOT do justice to the beauty of this guitar. it is So clean, and yet "grunge" looking at the same time, I love it! So it may not be a Gibson, but if you ask me it plays just as good! For the price its a steal.

Excellence
This guitar goes beyond what words can describe, and that's not over doing it. Packed with the classic EMG 81/85 setup, this beast can do anything you ever wanted to do with a breeze. Amazing tone, sound, quality - You get it all here, and such a stunning look to it: The picture does no justice for this guitar, you actually have to see it get the full experience! For it's price I can't see any guitar coming close to this one. It's got EVERYTHING!

Never Thought I Would Like An SG!
I just recently got this guitar and havent touched my other guitars since! If you play CLEAN its for you. If you play DISTORTED its for you. It has the signature chunky sound of the Gibson, but not the price! If you want a good looking guitar that can play anything with ease, get one! The only bad thing is its kinda heavy so get a locking strap for that reason. The EMG pickups make this guitar have awsome sustain with its easy grasp neck. Not much force required to bend the strings either. All around good looking, fantastic sounding guitar.

It's an Epiphone?!
This baby's loaded with features I've seen on very few Gibsons, much less Epiphones.
24 jumbo frets on an ebony fretboard, quilt maple top, EMG 81/85 active pickups, all on the classic SG body.
Epiphone or not, this guitar is perfect for metal, and if you turn down the volume a bit or don't mash the strings, you can even get a great clean sound out of the EMGs.

Insane XD
I just bought this Guitar recently and I was astounded at the tone it gives! The pickups are amazing and have a great sustain, and its not even really that heavy. Its a great guitar and I don't think I'm gonna be replacing it very soon.

Wow
Starting off, very beautiful looking guitar...body has a nice gloss, awesome inlays, binding is great too, pick ups are EMGs, need i say more?...what most people haven't said is the neck has a flat finish so you won't slide around like on a gloss neck...best feature in this price range i've ever seen...but the neck is a bit thick for my taste, id go for a ibanez thick neck but the thickness didn't really slow me down...this is by far the best value in this range that i've seen...i know everybody says that and most times they're wrong, but i would agree when discussing this guitar.

Could not be better!
I bought this guitar a year ago. Nothing bad about it. The EMGs are sick. they can have great supper heavy distortion, or a great clean soung. They are great for any style. TWO OCTAVES?! amazing. makes soloing a dream. the satin neck is awesome. I will regret not having one if i get a new guitar. In my opinion, its just as good as a gibson, with more features, and less of a price. This has been my weapon of choice. GET IT NOW!!! YOU CANT GO WRONG!!!!

Shreds
This guitar is sick! Thhe EMGs is what really sets this thing off. They absolutely wail. I played this thing trough a Raven halfstack and it was sweet. The finish on it is beautiful, one of the best looking guitars I've seen. The only thing, unless you have the bass turned up on the amp, this guitar sounds a little thin. It's sound is a little too trebley, just like a regular SG. So don't get this guitar if you are looking to escape that ACDC Sg sound, because it's here too, only not as light sounding. heavy, but thin

Amazing Guitar
I've always liked the SG, so when I saw this guitar, I knew it was for me. It can handle so many different styles of music, always sounding great. I've had little to no problems with it. It's even more beautiful up close, and it plays incredibly smoothly. Regardless of your style of music, this baby is for you.
