The SG Prophecy Custom EX Electric Guitar from Epiphone is based on the original Gibson SG design. The Prophecy guitar boasts an EMG-81 humbucker in the bridge position for great attack and sustain during solos and an EMG-85 humbucker at the neck for fat, great-sounding rhythm. Amazing!
I just recently bought this guitar, and wow, i was blown away at its sound! It has a nice crisp tone, pickups are extremely nice (sick sustain), and its neck is extremely nice and slick. The all around performance of this guitar is astounding! Now to move on to the looks. Lets just say that the pictures on this sight DO NOT do justice to the beauty of this guitar. it is So clean, and yet "grunge" looking at the same time, I love it! So it may not be a Gibson, but if you ask me it plays just as good! For the price its a steal.

Excellence
This guitar goes beyond what words can describe, and that's not over doing it. Packed with the classic EMG 81/85 setup, this beast can do anything you ever wanted to do with a breeze. Amazing tone, sound, quality - You get it all here, and such a stunning look to it: The picture does no justice for this guitar, you actually have to see it get the full experience! For it's price I can't see any guitar coming close to this one. It's got EVERYTHING!

Never Thought I Would Like An SG!
I just recently got this guitar and havent touched my other guitars since! If you play CLEAN its for you. If you play DISTORTED its for you. It has the signature chunky sound of the Gibson, but not the price! If you want a good looking guitar that can play anything with ease, get one! The only bad thing is its kinda heavy so get a locking strap for that reason. The EMG pickups make this guitar have awsome sustain with its easy grasp neck. Not much force required to bend the strings either. All around good looking, fantastic sounding guitar.

It's an Epiphone?!
This baby's loaded with features I've seen on very few Gibsons, much less Epiphones.
24 jumbo frets on an ebony fretboard, quilt maple top, EMG 81/85 active pickups, all on the classic SG body.
Epiphone or not, this guitar is perfect for metal, and if you turn down the volume a bit or don't mash the strings, you can even get a great clean sound out of the EMGs.

Insane XD
I just bought this Guitar recently and I was astounded at the tone it gives! The pickups are amazing and have a great sustain, and its not even really that heavy. Its a great guitar and I don't think I'm gonna be replacing it very soon.
