This Guitar has KILLER looks and the sound to matc

I bought this guitar about a year ago and i can't put it down. I own the ebony model and it gets comments all the time by my friends and realatives. The sound is not real bassy but it is def. a GREAT sounding guitar. The phase switch on it is awesome. When i jack it into an amp i always have the phase switch on because it sounds so cool. If you want a gorgeous guitar with terrific, bright tone, for an incredible price, buy this guitar. You wont be disapointed.

Wonderful Sound

I owned the PR5-E and played it nonstop until the day I had to let it go. It was beatific, and and it produced a certain sound with the right strings that I have yet to find in another guitar. Anyone interested in a marvelously sounding acoustic-electric guitar at a reasonable price should seriously consider this one.

Epiphone PR5-E

This is one of the best guitars out there in this price range. The guitar had a great setup right out of the box. It is an extremely nicely built guitar. The guitar has a really nice looking cutaway. The split-diamond inlays look awesome too. It has an Epi-Six preamp with an EQ. It sounds great unplugged or plugged in. This is my main guitar i use for my gigs.

This is it!

I have owned my Epiphone PR5-E Acoustic Electric since 1994! It was the best $300 I ever spent. The tone is outstanding and the durability is unmatched! I put it through some rough treatment and it still sounds great! I am buying another one!!!

Epiphone Pr5 Acoustic-Electric

This guitar is a good example of bigger bang for less of your buck. Unplugged, it has a fairly thin sound, but is loud enough to play to a youth group meeting or small coffee house gig. Plugged in though, the shadow preamp system is a monster. I get a great plugged in sound on this guitar straight through the PA, or on my Behringer acoustic amp. On all the pr5 models I have played, the fret work has been lackluster above the 15th fret, so if you plan on doing high register soloing on this acoustic, bring a slide. In all, if you're on a budget and need a decent acoustic-electric, this is your guitar.
