My best guitar buy
This guitar has the most bang for the buck - best $100 I've ever spent. Let me first say that I am an experienced acoustic guitarist. I spend most of my time playing my Martin D-35 which has been attached to my hip for the past 10 years or my 1 year old Gibson Hummingbird. Being that I moved to NYC 2 years ago, I've found it a b*itch to carry hard guitar cases around the city for rehearsals and lessons, and I wasn't about to put my Martin or Gibson in a soft case. So I was then in the market to by a cheap guitar, one where I could carry it around the city without a care.
The consmetics of the guitar struck my eye and so then I picked it up to give it a try and I was very pleased with its sound and playability - it was comparable to my $1500+ guitars. I have always been the one who always thought that Epiphones' where just cheap imitations of Gibsons. But this guitar has changed my perception. I was and still am blown away by this guitar.
Since I made this purchase I installed a Fishman Rare Earth single coil pickup and to be totally honest, the sound of this guitar is in some ways better than my Martin D-35. (Part of this is the Fishman Rare Earth Pickup which I highly recomend)

Guitar Geniousness
The Epiphone PR-150 is a great guitar for beginners. I would know that because I am a beginner and I've found it much easier than most other guitars I've used. It neck is much thinner so it works well for people with small hands (like girls). I have two older brother's who are much more professional with guitars that loved the guitar. The sound and quality of this guitar is great. I'm really that I went out and bought this guitar. So what I'm really trying to say is that I think it would be a great idea to try this guitar out and see how good it is yourself.

Great Guitar, but.....
this is a great guitar out of the box. better tones than some of the more expensive acoustic guitars (better that $150-$200 range). i picked up this guitar as a "knock around" for camping and beach trips. the sound is deep and true, and for a hundred bucks you dont have to worry about tearing the thing up. One problem, the action is a bit high, so if your finger strength is not up to par, might want to change to lighter strings. The action would be the only complaint i have about this wonderful guitar.

My Review for the Epiphone PR-150 Acoustic
I bought this guitar today and I am very happy with it. Now I'm a beginner so I don't have much experiences with other guitars but this one seems to be great. It's really sturdy. There aren't any buzzing noises like some guitars I've seen. It's a really great deal, too! I bought it for only 99.99. If your a beginner and you don't want to spend tons of money on a guitar I highly reccommend this one! Great Buy!

What a Steal!
I always recommend Epiphone acoustics to friends who want a great instrument at a low price. The PR-150 is the best guitar available under $400. Everyone can't afford those fine Martins and Taylors, but that is no reason not to have a well-constructed, great sounding instrument. This instrument is well set up and very playable right out of the box. The low cost belies it's unbelievable sound. It has the fit and finish of a much more expensive instrument. What a great guitar!

Great Value
Got this guitar about 3 months ago, the action was a little high and the strings are not the greatest.
However I re-string it with some MSP 4100 and paid $40 to have it setup, and now it plays like a dream. Gives you a full rich sound that you would aspect out of a more expensive guitar, for the price of this guitar you can?t go wrong. The only problem I ran into, Epiphone doesn?t sell a case for this one, so you have to go to the local guitar center to pick one up.

great guitar
I purchased this guitar because the only guitar in my house was a classical nylon string and I wanted a dreadnought to bring to school. In my opinion, you can't find a better deal. The sound is great especially with a set of new strings. The tuners are good and the guitar stays in tune pretty long. The gloss finish is nice and the guitar seems to be crafted of quality materials.

Great guitar for beginners
This was my first acoustic guitar that I bought about 1 y ear ago and it is the reason my skills are where they are today. It's not the best sounding guitar in the world, but it gets the job done! The problem I had with it was the strings rattling. That may have also been me not being able to bar all of the strings but I do not have the rattling problem with my new Takamine. If you are looking for a guitar to start leanring on and you are on a budget, I don't see anything wrong with this guitar. If you are patient, takamine makes an excellent guitar at the 300 dollar price tag that I would recommend to anybody. If not, go ahead and grab this! You won't be disappointed.
