      Epiphone PR-150 Acoustic Guitar (102321213)
Availability:

A great beginner's guitar.

For such an easy-to-afford guitar, the Epiphone PR-150 is a standout -- a perfect instrument to get started on. It is a dreadnought and features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. The PR-150 sounds great and this Epiphone's sunburst finish gives it the look of a far more expensive guitar.

  • A Steal

As reviewed by Brett Devall on 3/27/2008

I bought this guitar with the vintage sunburst finish a few months ago. Looking for my first guitar, I was mainly focused on how low the price was. However, I was immensly surprised by just how nice this guitar looks and how great it sounds. Some people I know who play much more expensive guitars were impressed when they heard how it sounds, but they were blown away when they heard how much it cost. I was expecting cheap strings on it, but they were actually very good. The action is a bit high, so it took me a little while to get my finger strength up to par, but they're much stronger now and I see that as a good thing. I recently put on extra light strings and it's an absolute breeze to play. With such a great sound and looks that will have everybody thinking you paid a lot more than you did, this guitar is definately a steal.

    As reviewed by J O S E on 7/21/2009

I'm an advanced guitar player. I was looking for an acoustic guitar that's cheap but sounds good. I saw this guitar and I tryed it out at guitar center and I loved it. I'd recommend this guitar for beginners threw advanced.

  • Amazing sound for amazing price!

As reviewed by Marsh on 12/30/2008

I just got this acoustic guitar for Christmas, and I'm extremely impressed! Beautiful acoustic guitar and the sound is outrageous! My uncle that's been playing guitar all his life was playing my guitar, then he switched to his 12-string guitar (which was over $1,000) and uhm, I think he sounded better on my guitar! Also, I'm a female and the neck is perfect, not too big for my little fingers. Buy this guitar, and you won't be sorry.
