Masterbilt 4 sure!

Excellent sound and action for a budget priced all-wood acoustic guitar. The AJ-500M went head to head with the Taylor DN-3 and Martin MMV and came out a winner based on my comparison. Big sonic voice when strummed and plenty of mids and highs for picking. Vintage grovers keep everything in tune and black headstock adds to the overall retro appeal. Quality fit and finish with hide-glue construction. Would like to see all gloss but you can't have everything! Very nice guitar for the $$$.

Amazing all solid accoustic, for so little money.

I received this for Christmas and cannot be happier. The build quality is excellent, and it sounds incredible. To be able to get an all solid acoustic for so little money is amazing. It truly does sound as good as guitars costing three times as much. Be sure to monitor the humidity where you store this beauty. This is an all solid guitar, and it needs to be treated as such. It should last a lifetime. When Gibson moved the Epiphone production to China they did an amazing thing running the plant themselves as opposed to the typical farming out to a Asian builder that so many other companies do. I am convinced the Epiphone Masterbilt line will have a place in Guitar history as the beginning of the "Quality Chinese Build Era".

Masterbuilt masterstroke

Wonderful sound for the money. I have a very expensive Martin so this is my camping guitar. It is really well made and looks nice. The sound is big and the neck plays very easily. Everyone who plays it can't believe it only cost so little. Mine came with Baggs pick-up so that's a bonus. Love this guitar. Highly recommend it!

great guitar

after driving 2 hours to the nearest guitar center and crossing the border between USA and canada to do so, hearing this guitar sing makes all the trouble that it took me to get there seem to fade away
