Epi Wilshire is a great deal!

I knew when I first saw this guitar advertised that I was going to have to get one. I like to collect the odd guitars (new and old) that come along and the features of this guitar excited me. I got in one of the first orders for this guitar and though it missed the release date, I did get one about 3 weeks later. It was worth the wait. Setup out of the box was very good, just had to tune it up and plug it in and it was good to go. The action is great, the humbuckers are fine and the whole guitar is certainly a good value for the money. The Arctic White finish was very good and I love the set neck and the thin body. I'll play out with it soon. It's a darned good buy - get one while you can.

Awesome Epi Classic

This guitar is great. I have been playing for a short while and found it very easy to pick up and just play. More experienced players have fallen in love with it as well and are ordering it. The one feature I really like is the low level of the strings in the higher frets. It really makes the guitar easy to play. GREAT BUY!!

Good Guitar

I'm a pretty new player, but i can say that the wilshire stays in tune very well, even after some heavy bending and slamming a few chords. The pickups seem pretty good and the guitar overall has a versatile sound. I don't know what strings it came with, but i put some ernie ball 9's on and had to adjust the truss rod, no biggie. That's the closest thing to a negative i have to say about this guitar.

I have paid more for less.

The wilshire has sparked some faith in me about epiphone. I never thought much of them to be honest. But, now I get it. I had been reading far too many reviews that bashed them and comparing them to gibsons. Don't get me wrong I appreciate the high end guitars but this thing plays as good as most if not better than most guitars I have played. The pickups are good, the build is excellent. The neck is comfy and everything is put together solid. This is a quality instrument. And I'm happy to have it in my "collection". It is quickly getting to be the one I grab first.
