Wow...

This guitar is AMAZING for the price! My brother just got it yesterday and I never thought epiphone would make such a nice guitar. This guitar has a thick warm tone on clean, great for blues. But when distorted, it can play from classic rock to punk. For me, this guitar looks really nice, but it's not comfortable to hold on the lap (remember this is my opinion). I have a gibson SG and that feels way better. But, the sound that comes from this guitar is ALOT better than my SG. Sadly, after playing this guitar, my SG sounds thin and whimpy...but it's all in those P-90s! I think I'm going to have to modify my guitar to put in P-90's or at least Duncan P-rails cuz the sound it produces is what I'd LOVE to have. Now as for the bigsby...If you move it just a little bit, the whole guitar would get out of tune. I'd recommend a roller bridge and trem-nut and possibly locking tuners if it continues to get out of tune. But all in all, this guitar is worth the money!

Amazing sale price and wonderful guitar!!!

I love playing rock, blues and jazz on this babey!! It is perfect nothing is bad. I love the color and have fun with the gold whammy bar. It is big but a can can still get around the neck easily.

perfect....don't think twice about buying this - get it now!

I'm not kidding when I say that I literally unpacked this guitar from the Epiphone box, plugged it in, and haven't even changed the strings yet. This guitar should easily be selling for three times the price. Grab one while you can. So many amazing tones through the p-90s. I play it through my tweed Peavey Classic 30 and man is it LOUD! The Bigsby is a nice touch. I like the how the added weight of it provides extra depth in the sound but doesn't unbalance the guitars weight. And overall the thing is amazingly light but doesn't feel like I'm going to break it. I've layed into it pretty well and it just feels "right"!! Don't think twice. Thinking of getting a Gibson - save yourself some heartache and cash and snatch one of these up while they're still around. Amazing.

Worth It

This guitar can really pack a punch when used right. PROS: Superb sound. Bigsby doesn't trash your tuning as much as I worried it would as long as you are not going crazy. MId-weight and very comfortable both standing and sitting. Changing the action is a breeze and requires no tools. A 5-ish foot cable was included. The free case was a big help and money saver. CONS: The body's colour was a lot brighter and lacked the darker edges; solid red for me. The plastic pick guard seems really cheap. The neck is extremely touchy so you can't put much pull or push on it without noticeably bending the pitch. It doesn't hold the tuning as much as I hoped. The price seems very reasonable. Doesn't play above and beyond $1000 guitars but great for the price. I would advise stopping in at your nearest guitar vender and trying out similar products seeing its online only but I am glad I bought this guitar.

Amazing stuff Epiphone has been doing...

So I ordered this guitar a week ago at gc. Was home sick from school, so naturally, I went on the web and did my research. So from what I can tell, people are raving about the color, price, bigsby, and pickups. People don't like that the color is different than they thought, more of a lighter red, the plastic nut, and the tuners, and a couple people say that the roller bridge doesn't do much. I, personally, love the sound of these pickups. I'm in my schools jazz band, and when I plugged this into my Hot rod deluxe ltd ed (python), the band directors jaw hit the floor. It's very impressive. One of my favorite features is the three way switching with three volume knobs. It reminds me of my fox ayers strat with 7-way pickups, but better, seeing as how I can blend picups to for seperate combinations. Overall, I think this is a great guitar for the price, and for any price really. Get your hands on one before they run out again, though!

i got this guitar the day it came back out. when i got it the action was horibal and the e came off form the pickgard. so i took into guitar center to get it set up and it plays grate. i took of the pickgard of and it looks much better. i am thinking about geting a vintage gibson p90 in the bridge and a vintage casino neck pickup so the sound can be better

Pretty decent axe.

I've been playing for a year and this is my third guitar. I also own a Fender Telecaster and an Ibanez acoustic. This guitar is really easy to play. The neck isn't too fat, it's very comfortable to play, and I have smaller hands. It looks AWESOME. Don't think about buying this guitar, just do it, trust me. Only thing I have to complain about is about after a half hour of playing it, the instrument cable jack fell into the guitar... I got it out with a magnetic screwdriver. what a pain. This guitar plays perfectly though. Sounds good for a wide variety of music. I play anything from Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers to AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, RHCP, and even indie music. Just an aswesome guitar for the price... good quality.
