Product Information

A cool version of the guitar that set the standard for solidbody electric guitars.

This Limited Edition Les Paul Standard puts the king of solidbody electric guitars in a gorgeous sparkle flake finish and delivers all the signature sound at a fraction of the cost. The mahogany body provides superb resonance, while the Alnico Classic humbucker pickups deliver loads of warmth. The set mahogany neck with a SlimTaper profile and rosewood fretboard gives this guitar the familiar feel and fast action that Les Paul players love. Neck and body binding and trapezoid fingerboard inlays finish off the classic Les Paul guitar look seen on stages the world over for decades. The LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece add more sustain and make string changing easier.

These are awesome guitars for the price!

In my Humble opinion the finish alone on these guitars is worth the price. Then add in the fact they have some descent metal Grover tuners, the Les Paul body style, they are limited edition custom shop models (Whatever that means), and I think you get a pretty good deal... But of course, I did opt to remove the factory pick-up's, and install a set of EMG's (81/85) in the two of these guitars I bought (Red & Blue). So not only do they look real freakin good, feel real solid, and stay in tune, they also sound so sick they bring tears to my eyes. I just love my new Fraternal Twins.

Oh no!!!

I usually play Gibsons and only bought the epi because I was having my Gibson V custom painted and I needed a cheap but desent guitar for an upcoming show. So I went to guitar center to look at what they had and the Red Sparkle epi caught my eye. After only two rehearsals I noticed some cracks on the upper part of the neck near the headstock and that was the night before the show!!! So I ran to guitar center to have it replaced and played that replacement for the show and had no problems, but I've only play it once so we'll see.

Eh

I didnt really enjoy playing with this guitar. One day at band practice the head stock fell off completely. Nobody touched it. It just fell as I was standing and playing. After I got that fixed at the local music shop, Then bridge nearly fell off. It wasnt attached correctly in the first place and had rosen soo high that each stroke broke the second you strummed. Lame.
