    First, the pictures don't do this beauty justice. The finish is a sparkle white and the binding is sparkle gold. A stunning guitar to look at. Now the sound. The mahogany body really resonates and helps give the guitar the traditional low end growl of an LP. Definately a thicker sound than a strat. Neck pickup is full and beautiful sounding while the bridge has more bite for lead tones. The guitar sounds fantastic both clean and with overdrive/distortion. My only concern is that the frets could be a little smoother at the edges. A very minor fret detail finishing oversight but worth a mention. Overall a great sounding and looking collectable guitar that is probably a little under priced. Buy it!

    Just to clear up some confusion I had about this guitar; this is a LP standard with gold trim and pearl finish. The description makes it hard to tell the hardware quality, but when I had the store technician open one up it had the same hardware as a LP standard. The finish on this guitar is stunning, have to see to comprehend. I got the only one they had in the store. The salesperson had to go find it in the back of the store. As soon as he pulled it out of the box everyone that passed by stopped to admire the guitar. Sounded great right out of the box.

    The pictures do not do this beauty any justice. I was blown away when I opened the box to this Guitar. Qualitiy is top notch and the sound is amazing. Big props to epiphone for producing this visually stunning and great sounding Les Paul guitar!!
