NEW REVIEW - Not Too Shabby

This is a quality Epiphone. I purchased a Gibson Les Paul Classic in Feb. 2009 and wanted a decent back up guitar that can sound similar without the high price tag. so I don't have to worry about wear and tear. After a lot of looking online I decided on this Epiphone LP Limited Edition Custom Chrome. Though this guitar is not a Gibson, it is still a great guitar for the price. I really like the quality of the binding and the overall look. For a "Made in China" guitar, it seems to be one of the best Epiphones out there right now (at least that I could find). Just a little disclaimer: This guitar does not look exactly like the picture shows. My local GC did not actully have this Limited Edition Epi. LP in stock so I had to order it based on the online add. When it arrived and I saw it for the first time I was not happy with the chrome (mirrored looking) pick guard or the yellowed, aged looking binding. However, over the last couple of weeks I have grown to enjoy the aged look and am now in love with this guitar. The pick guard does show scratches easily though. Overall, a good guitar for the money.

NEW REVIEW - Epiphone means business!

This guitar is just plain striking. First off, Epiphone Les Pauls are extremely high quality, value-line guitars. You'd be hard- pressed to tell apart from a Gibson (other than the obvious headstock design), with this limited-edition custom chrome version. The body is noticeably heavier than than a regular Epi standard (nobody's been able to explain why), feeling very similar to the Gibson, and with the slightly hotter pickups - the choice for me was obvious to get this one while they are even still available. Actually removed the pickguard and replaced knobs with trans black LP Custom units. Love it.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a whim I decided to try out a GC in Arlington. After playing practicly every guitar there, I decided to head on home. On my way out, this beauty caught my eye. But, to my dismay, the input jack was messed up. Then, the gut who was helping us out came over and offerd to fix it (Thanks Lano!) After playing this, a Gibson LP Studio and the Eiphone Lp Custom Antique, I was sold on this. It is one pf the most comftorale guitars I have ever played. Do your self a favor. Buy this guitar. You wont regret it.

WOW!!!!!!

epiphone hit a homerun with this guitar! Not only does it look amazing(the picture doesnt do much justice), but the rich, meaty sounds you can get out of this guitar are increabe! The guitar is on the heavyer side, but that just means tons of sustain. i only have to tune about ounce every week! the only con i can think of is that the neck is alittle thick. if you want a guitar that is reliable, fastplaying, and just amazing looking, buy this guitar!!

Limited Custom Chrome

I have been playing for about 40 years and this is one of the best I have played. I have a Fender 50ty Ann. in business Strat, a Epi Dot, a Samick 450 N, a Line 6 Variax 600 and have had several others including a 60's Guild Starfire and a 80 Gibson 335 TD. This plays easier and sounds better then all of them. The Alinco II Calssic Plus pickups do a great job. I don't understand the negative feedback on them unless the reviewer just didn't tweak the amp enough. I play mine throug a Line 6 Flex III Plus at home and a Line 6 Pod XT Live and get great sounds from them with the LP. The neck is warm and it can jump and the bridge will bite you back when you want it to. I din't want a Les Paul all that time until I tried this one out at GC. It is my got to guitar the others are hanging on the wall most of the time. Get it you won't be sorry.
