Clean looks, affordable price, and a cool Alpine White finish.

The original idea for the Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar was to create a somewhat lower-priced Paul by dispensing with some cosmetics. The result was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. Newly designed in 2004, the Studio now has a thicker body that matches its namesake, hot open-coil humbuckers, a set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and mahogany body with carved top. Alpine White finish. The LockTone stopbar tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge provide great sustain and tone, and make string changing easier. Limited lifetime warranty.

  • poor man's les paul

As reviewed by joe on 6/5/2008

excellent guitar. the photo is a bit deceiving because it doesn't show the curved top on the body. the neck is set so you get some serious sustain and tone that you would hear from a les paul costing hundreds of dollars more. the pickups have great tonal range. you can go from sharp and twangy country to fat crunch with the flip of the selector, and the tone knobs for each pickup give you even more reach into different tones. i'm running her through a vox valvetronic 30watt and she sounds amazing. for a great les paul without breaking the bank get this!

  • Epiphone Les paul Studio

As reviewed by Sully on 3/9/2009

this guitar is much more than i expected. the tuners are great-they stay in tune much longer than I anticipated. The pickups are also very good BUT they are not like gibsons, they get a little muddy so i might replace them. The neck was well- fretted, and is a slimish neck profile, which i like for faster playing. Overall, I love it! the alpine white is beautiful, and this is a great buy.

  • My First Les Paul

As reviewed by Triton on 8/3/2007

I'm a beginning guitarist who lives down the street from where I take lessons. Anyways, I was at the shop early and was just looking at the axes and my eyes fell upon this Les Paul. My father promised me a Gibson Les Paul if I keep up the good work. I decided to try the axe and I fell for it. I lovd it and now I really want the Gibson Les Paul.
