Clean looks, affordable price, and a cool Alpine White finish.

The original idea for the Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar was to create a somewhat lower-priced Paul by dispensing with some cosmetics. The result was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. Newly designed in 2004, the Studio now has a thicker body that matches its namesake, hot open-coil humbuckers, a set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and mahogany body with carved top. Alpine White finish. The LockTone stopbar tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge provide great sustain and tone, and make string changing easier. Limited lifetime warranty.

  • Epiphone Les paul Studio

As reviewed by Sully on 3/9/2009

this guitar is much more than i expected. the tuners are great-they stay in tune much longer than I anticipated. The pickups are also very good BUT they are not like gibsons, they get a little muddy so i might replace them. The neck was well- fretted, and is a slimish neck profile, which i like for faster playing. Overall, I love it! the alpine white is beautiful, and this is a great buy.

  • My First "Real" guitar

As reviewed by Mac on 7/14/2008

This guitar is GREAT for beginners. The reason is the price is very low, but it definetly sounds like a real gibson les paul. It has the sustain, the fell, and even the neck. Some things i noticed that are bad is that it doesnt stay in tune all to well, and the frets arent as pressed in good as a gibson. But overall this guitar is great for a beginner. And if your looking for a les paul with a gibson sound, but not a gibson price, I recamend this guitar.
