Love it

I went to Guitar Center to find a Les Paul, so I could upgrade from my squier strat. From the moment I plugged in, I knew this was my guitar. The neck is so smooth, and the finish is great. Pickups deliver a good variety of sounds. Also, some people think Epiphones don't stay in tune, well this one did! Overall, this guitar can be played by anyone, from begginers to pros. Way to go Epiphone!

Road Warrior

I bought this guitar about a year ago. At the time I was on the road playing about 4 to 5 times a week. I could have bought a much more expensive guitar but (as I'm sure all road musicians know) they get fudged up on the road. Well this thing withstood everything from the salt water air on the beach in Destin to the humidity in Louisiana. Excellent sound and easy playability. No problems whatsoever. If you are a beginner or a serious working musician, this is a value buy. It delivers tone that I didn't think possible for its price range, if you want more simply put some les paul pickups in it to hot rod it and your on your way

Great Intermediate Guitar

This guitar has done well for me. I really enjoy have complete control over the two pickups. If you think epiphones are just a cheap knock off of gibsons this guitar will prove you wrong. Most people when they hear my guitar think its a gibson because of the quality of the tone but its a epiphone. I would suggest this to any intermediate player who wants to step up from an begginer but can't afford to buy professional grade guitars.

It's No Gibson.

This Epiphone Les Paul Standard is a surprising deal and guitar. This korean knockoff of an LP actually does a very good job of holding up on its own. The tone and sound is impressive, and the build of it is worthy of being a very nice guitar. Out of the box, a few adjustments to the action had to be made, but other than that, it was completely playable, and in prestine condition. It's no Gibson, but it's a great guitar nonetheless.

Lots for the money

At 52 years young, and a player since I was 9, you can believe there aren't many brands and models I haven't had in my hands at one time or another. For the money, this one's hard to beat. Out of the box, it does require some set up, but a good tech can tweak it to your liking.
