NEW REVIEW - Never Again

I made the mistake of exchanging my recently bought Epiphone LP for a Fender Strat. I regretted it the moment I took it home and plugged it in my amp. The sound was nowhere near the amazingness I had found with my LP. I went back to my local GC and exchanged my exchange. This is the guitar for me. I was lucky enough that they had one in the back still in the box... nothing like a fresh guitar.

NEW REVIEW - Les Paul Quality, EPI price

I've been playing in a covers band for over 30 years, using several Strat style guitars as my one and only axe - until this past summer when I discovered a low end EPI. I was so impressed with the sound I got out of that sweet guitar, that I knew I was going to buy an EPI LP as soon as I could. My local GC took down my name and promised they would call if they took in a clean EPI LP. Sure enough, last night I got a call only 2 hours before band parctice letting me know that they had just taken in a Honeyburst ( THE sweetest finish of em all )EPI LP Standard. It was like brand new - strings and all. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it sitting there waiting for me to take it home. Two hours later, I was practicing with my new axe. I haven't touched my Strat copy since spring and now that I own this awesome guitar, I probably never will. I can't take my eyes off of this beauty - I've already plugged in and played it 3 times this morning just to hear that sweet sound. So beautiful and rich. Everything about this guitar is of the highest quality - the finish, the Grover tuners, the HBs that beat the crap out of any Strat pup, the action and feel and that never ending LP sound. I do have to get used to a heavier guitar than I'm used to - but it will be no problem when I plug in and hear the sound Les himself made famous. If you get a chance to buy this guitar, buy it as soon as you can. For the buck, it's a steal.

NEW REVIEW - Amazing Guitar for the $$

This is a fantastic, set-neck guitar right off the shelf. They have a nice finish, fast neck and good tuners. Personally, the factory pickups leave a little to be desired. I installed Gibson 496 and 498 pickups in both my Epi LP standards, did a nice set-up and WOW! as nice as my Gibson LP's. A great value for a sweet guitar!

Just got it. LOVE IT!

After wanting a Les Paul for about fifteen years, I finally said "what the heck". I couldn't be happier. It is the most solid and smooth felling guitar I have ever owned. I'm an experienced player & own a couple of Strats, but this thing (even though it's "only an Epiphone")has the warmest tone, sweetest action, & the most stunning looks of all my guitars. As I said the overall feel is just amazing; as is the construction quality. The Epiphone Plain Top Les Paul is hands down the best guitar on the market in it's price range(and a few other price ranges). Perfect for all styles. Perfect for all experience levels. Totally recomend it.
