The Epiphone Les Paul PlusTop PRO sets a new standard for guitars in its price range. Two Epiphone ProBucker humbucking pickups with coil-splitting deliver big slabs of the fat, warm tones, transcontinental sustain, and deep, soulful distortion that made this guitar famous. Crafted with a solid mahogany body and flamed maple carved top, a set mahogany neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, cream body and fingerboard binding, and chrome hardware. The Tune-o-matic bridge and LockTone stopbar tailpiece add seemingly unending sustain and make string changes easier.

  • The perfect Les Paul for my studio.

    I needed a second guitar for recording purposes only. Primarily, I'm a bassist but I wanted to learn guitar after nearly 40 years of playing. When I found this, I was quite impressed with the sound and the action. Plus, I wanted one that could give me the sustain I needed on specific tracks.

  • An excellent guitar for the price.

    I had a standard Fender Stratocaster for a while and decided I'd like to trade in for an Epi LP. I found this beauty out on the floor (it was just put out, unlike the rest that have minor defects from being played by customers every day) and immediately had to have it. Perfect playability, great fretwork, minimal if no hum and the pickups sound great. The construction of the guitar is solid and the finish looks beautiful.

  • You want a good Epiphone LP for a good price look no more.

    Oh my goodness this is an excellent guitar. I almost see no difference between this and a Gibson. My dad bought me this guitar three years ago and it still sounds great and feels great. Only thing I changed was the Bridge pickup. It pretty much cut out all of the highs. But still not a problem I was able to live with it but I changed the pickups anyway. Don't waste thousands of dollars on a Gibson there only a few slight differences in my opinion.
