Plush box that rocks

This case fits my Epi Les Paul PERFECTLY. There's absolutely no wiggle room so I know it won't get knocked around. The case is lined with very plush fur. Not the short fuzz or felt you see in other cases. This is long hairs that provide a nice pillow for your LP. There are 5 hasps (4 on the front edge and 1 on the back -- hinge -- edge) to lock this baby up tight so it won't accidentally open and spill your LP. The internal storage compartment in the neck of the case easily stores a couple cables, extra picks, and strings. Or even a tuner. It's alittle on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. And this good looking case is worth it.

smells...but it's so worth it!

I just got this case today in the mail. It's pretty solid and is really secure. On the outside: "epiphone" printed in gold. There are 5 locks on it, 4 on the handle side and 1 on the opposite side. The one to the left of the handle has a little hole to put a combination/key lock. On the bottom there are 4 metal pegs to make it stand (seen on the pic). There are three at the base, one by at the head, 2 on the body area. On the inside: Fits my Epi LP Jr. pretty good, a little movement up and down tho. The compartment can fit all of what I have, which are a set of guitar strings, string winder, gripmaster, tuner, fast fret cleaner, and a strap. The dimensions of the compartment are 6 x 6 x 3 inches. The good: Can fit a lot of stuff in the compartment, maybe even a mini amp. Solid design at an affordable price. The Bad: Well...not much bad stuff to say about this except that it smells...yeah it's true, not a "fresh out of the factory" smell you'd expect either. Hope this review was helpful!

Quality Case

Epiphone Les Paul Hardshell Case My friends purchased this case along with a Les Paul 100. The case is very sturdy and should definitely be able to withstand air travel so if one should ever have to take their Les Paul style guitar with thm, it should arrive in the same condition. My Les Paul fits very nicely into the case, there's no extra room at all so that it doesn't move around. There's a small compartment within the case which can be used to store picks, tuner, cables etc. Definitely better than a gig bag if you want protection.

Great for the Money

Les Paul owners, why waste extra money on expensive guitar cases, when the Epiphone Les Paul Hardshell Case will give you the same results for a fraction of the cost. I have owned this case for a year now, and it has contributed to keeping my epiphone les paul in mint condition, no matter where I take it. Other cases commonly cost upwards of $100. why cough up the cash?

You gotta protect your guitar

I love the epiphone les paul case, it fits my guitar well, and keeps it safe, for the most part. And I love that when you carry this case in, everyone knows what you're weilding. But it does have two problems. One, the top is thin, twice i have sat it down and it has tipped onto the top side, both times my guitar was damaged, which is ridiculous for a six inch fall inside a case. Two, if you put straplocks on your guitar it won't fit in the case very well. The locks will tear up the padding. But overall it's not bad.
