Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO Left Handed Electric Guitar (H79037)
Availability:

A professionally upgraded Les Paul Custom with looks that kill.

The king of solid body guitars, the Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 after the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop. Les Paul himself suggested black as a great color for a new Les Paul because it looked "classy" and went well with a tuxedo on stage. Now with its ebony or antique white finish, the Les Paul Custom has often been referred to as the "tuxedo" Les Paul. And with its gold appointments, fully bound body, neck and headstock and mother-of-pearl inlays, we think you'll agree that the Epiphone Les Paul Custom is "dressed to kill". Now featuring ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbucking pickups with coil-split, gold hardware, multi-binding on body (top and back), neck and headstock as well as split-diamond mother-of-pearl headstock and fretboard inlays, it’s as gorgeous as it is deadly.

  • amazing guitar.

As reviewed by dan on 1/2/2015

if you are looking for a affordable les paul, this is the one to get, it has great sound quality and appears to be buit well. with the coil tapping feature you can really make this sound like a totally different type of guitar. it can go from classic fat les paul sound to that glassy smooth stratocaster like sound. I like this guitar better than I like my Gibson les paul studio or my other epiphone les paul one interesting thing is the phase switching, when using both pickups you can make so they are in or out of phase with each other. I do not care for the phase switching but its there if I ever want to use it, I just dont think it sounds good out of phase. the coil tapping sure is nice though. I hate black guitars but it is such a excellent guitar I can deal with it. your probably not ever going to find a better les paul for this kind of money, heck you might not even find a better les paul if you spend a good deal more.

  • Best guitar I've had

As reviewed by FERNANDO MARTINEZ on 1/23/2013

Being lefty has been an obstacle as a guitarist my whole life so I decided to switch to left-handed and do it with style. Fell in love the moment I saw this guitar and saved to buy it. Best decision as a musician ever. It sounds deep, clean and beautiful, both metal and rock come out of it in a way I didn't know I could accomplish. Every note sustains for a long time and chords are rich. Its a bit heavy but not as heavy as others I've carried, makes me feel like I'm holding a real guitar. The pickups are really nice too, the only downside is it needs to be cleaned constantly. This is a really good quality guitar, if you're into les paul sound you can't go wrong with this one. It also has really nice colors and finish! Totally love the "custom" label, everyone compliments it.
