  • Great guitar for price

    If you're low on money, want a good gibson like sg, this is the one to get. I own this one myself, and i love it. This thing has never gone out of tune on me. I mean never. Well i guess that's because mine has grover tuners on it. The finish is a bit darker than this picture, so its not too bright. The grain on the body shows up beautifully. The only problems i have with it, is hardware stripping. The selector switch moves around, and it won't tighten, and the input jack came loose the first half year i had it. But i was able to fix it. The pick ups can be a bit muddy, depending on what amp you have. My treble pick up sounds awesome to me. I wish epiphone and gibson would come up with a better bridge, because the tailpiece and tuneomatic bridge break strings very bad. Every string i break is at the bridge. I've never broke a string in the middle of the neck, or the headstock. I might not have the bridge set right, but i don't know. But anyways, this is a very good guitar. It's an eye catcher too :)

  • Very good guitar

    I got this 5 months ago and this guitar is very durable. The only problem was that the jack came loose, but was easily fixed. The pickups are good, but the screws on them got rusted. No problem. I like the way you can access all the frets. The color is good. I give this a 5/5. Excellent guitar. Not many guitars for us lefties, but this is a good one.

    My son in law gave this to me as a gift and bought it at G/Center, he is an accomplished player and knows guitars owning an "RPS" and Schecter. When we compared to the Gibson SG it's amazing how close this axe is to the high dollar unit. Light weight and a beauty to look at. I have run this through my son n law's Spider Valve HD100 and she rocks. Not much out there for us lefty's but this is a sweet axe. I'm a novice at 50 plus years old but plan to upgrade to some hotter pick ups and run with this guitar, however the sound and sustain are awesome out of the box. Great buy, great looks, great sound. Don't hesitate to take this home. "Rock On"
