The truth about Epiphone

Look, I've been playing guitar for over 20 years. I own 12 guitars including Gibson, Taylor, and Washburn and several Epiphones. The truth about Epiphone? They play just as well and sound just as good as my more expensive guitars. Don't listen to the posers try to tell you that Epiphones are not as good as a Gibson or Fender. I also own the above Epiphone Goth and I now use it as my main guitar when our band plays gigs. I play it constantly and I play it hard. It has held up beautifully. Epiphone has made another quality guitar at a price that anyone can afford.

"Wonderful Looking Guitar\

I've had this guitar for about a week now. And its just been amazing. First thing is that this guitar looks great,i mean its looks just cant be beat, it makes people drool just by looking at it. And I found it to stay in tune very well. There is a lot of buzzing noise, but you probably wont notice it when You play. the sound of this guitar is excellent for its price, i have heard people comparing the sound of this guitar to another les paul that costs thousands of dollars. the neck is also very smooth and you will be find it to be very comfortable while playing it. BUY THIS GUITAR NOW! its a hell of a deal.

The epiphone Goth Les Paul guitar is a great value. The features of the guitar don't get in the way of your playing, the sound quality is awsome, and you can bust out a face melting solo with it. My expeience with this guitar is associated with a friend in a band, and he loves this guitar. The guitar stays in tune very well, and is great for heavey metal guitar.

Smoking guitar EPIPHONE"S DONE IT AGAIN!!!!

I'll tell you right now buy this guitar!!! The Epiphone Goth Les paul is in-freaking-sane.Not only does it have looks that freaking kill it is also one of the best guitars i have played (trust me i've played alot of dang guitars). Hook it up to a petal or play without one its awesome. Nice clean sound and when you distort it let me tell you she freaking screams. Honestly the best guitar i've ever played. I had no problems with it. The only thing i could see replacing(not that you need to)is the humbuckers and upgrade to something to make it sound a little better but seriously no worrys with this guitar its amazing. I dont personally own one but i've been playing a friends and its sweet but let me tell you i'm gettin one very very soon! Anyways stop reading reviews and buy this sexy beast!!!!!!!!!!

Epiphone Goth Studio Electric

Dude, this guitar is so awesome. I mean the sound is really nice. It can be a very clean to a heavy distortion tone. The features are good. Like any normal Les Paul. The quality is great. Evreything is the best. The finish, tuners, everything. And the price is right. An awesome guitar for 299.00 on sale. For this good quality, (Epiphone is gettin ripped off). Overall its good. But you will need to rub the fingerprint residue of the body of the guitar. Or you'll have finger places everywhere. But it makes it look sorta camofloage too. Awesome guitar for an awesome price. Buy it if you like it.

Great guitar

I went into a Guitar Center not intended on purchasing anything and walked out with this guitar. When I first bought it, the guitar seemed a bit to heavy for me (sound wise, and physical weight) and the sound was too hot. But it began to grow on me and it is my main guitar now I love that thing. It's stock pickups are pretty good for an epiphone, although I would love to put some EMGs in it, then it will be the perfect beast. Overall, it's a great guitar for its price. It does chip and dent easily, but that does not effect it's trashing sound. I get compliments on it all the time. Definitely worth it's price.

The Epiphone LP is...

This guitar looks amazing. That is what initially drew me to it. The guitar looks very clean, yet still flashy enough. I love the art on the headstock and on the 12th fret. As far as playability goes, I play this guitar through a Peavey 5150 Head and a Peavey XXX Cab and it sounds awesome!!! It's great even for Metal. The pickups are decent sounding. Put some EMGs or Seymour Duncs in this beast and it screams! The neck is very comfortable with it's 22 frets and very smooth, fast fretboard. And the last thing I'm commenting on is the weight. Wow. Light, yet durable. Perfect weight for the average sized guitarist. I would recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a great practice, studio, or live guitar. I have had it for almost 2 years now and it is still shredding. Buy this if you want a great guitar but have a small budget.

You can't beat it with a stick

If you're looking for a Les Paul, you've found the right one. I have a Gibson Les Paul Custom with the binding, burst-buckers and flamed maple and this guitar gets more play. The design is beautiful out of the box. I've heard a lot of people complain but I've had this guitar for a year and haven't had a problem with anything on this guitar. It plays and sounds like an expensive Gibson out of the box. I wasn't expecting this kind of quality from Epiphone. I have not had a problem with the stock pickups but I did but Burst-Buckers in it a few months ago. Honestly, there isn't a huge difference. The stock pickups are hi-gain and somewhat "dark" and I think they sound great. This is a guitar you can put a couple of hundred dollars into and have a gibson les paul. The action was great the way that Gibson set it up. It has a great feel all the way down the neck. It has the great mahogany sound that Gibson offers. It has a very huge sound but if you like that strat sound, you will still enjoy this wonderful piece of work!

This Guitar Kicks Ass

This guitar kicks ass. I got it for christmas and it was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten. At first I didn't like it because I wanted the Les Paul Standard. But this guitar grew on me and now I am happy I have it instead of the other guitar. It sounds good on all pickups. Personally I like to put it on Treble but thats just me. But this is a must have guitar for any guitarist
