  • Great For Starters

As reviewed by Ryan Taylor on 3/9/2009

I bought this guitar back in October as a starter. This guitar is absolutely sick, if you're looking for a great guitar with a nice feel and sound at cheap price, look no further. I own this guitar in the red and let me tell you it's a beauty. This is such a versatile guitar that can play anything from blues to some nice face melting metal. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for nice guitar with a small price tag.

  • It really is lighter

As reviewed by Gordon Blevins on 3/15/2013

I am 68 years old and still, as Bob Seeger (sp?) sang, "out on the road again". I have played Gibson, Guild, Gretsch, and Martin guitars for 59 years, yep! I have a 1966 Les Paul Custom (Black). I bought it new. NOTHING CAN EVEN COME CLOSE. But, it is really HEAVY. So I was looking for a lighter weight guitar that really rocks. I found a white SG 310 at a local music store and it was love at first sound. The workmanship is excellent. The setup is excellent. The sound is amazing. The weight is FANTASTIC. T0 the person who wrote that the 310 is not just a practice axe. You are right on. Now both my left shoulder and the LP Custom are taking a well deserved rest. It's not a Les Paul Custom, but it ain't bad at all. Amazing.

  • Perfect.

As reviewed by Ana on 3/29/2011

This guitar does not get out of tune very quickly. The strings do need to be changed much like with most new guitars. The body and feel of playing is just perfect. The pickups compared to my last guitar are perfect, and should only be changed if you are really picky. It's loud when playing unplugged and sounds great with an amp as well. It sounds great when playing all sorts of music: jazz, rock, ska, blue, pop. I've had this guitar for about three months, and I've improved so much in my playing just because of this guitar. It's truly a beautiful sounding guitar and looks great too.
