This is an AMAZING guitar. I've been playing for about 10 years and out of the six guitars i've owned, this is the best. It's smooth, powerful, and extremely easy to play. You can make it sound just about any way you want. The only thing i wish for it is that I could have found it sooner. This was definately a huge upgrade from my other guitars and the price is unbelievable for its value. I hope my review will help with your decision to buy this truly awesome guitar.
Hey there I've had this guitar for about three months, and I have to say it has served me well. I play about twice a day, for about an hour each time I play, and I am rather satisfied with its sound. Its pickups sound great, and all the controls are functional. However, it does have some kinks. It doesn't keep it's tune very well, which is rather annoying. In addition, the low E string often makes buzzing noises when played open, so you should adjust the saddle some. But other than that, I recommend it to any Begginer guitarist, or a collector of SG model guitars.
I got the guitar as a gift when I was 17 and have been playing it for the last 15 years. It has stood the test of time, and with proper care, etc. it still looks great. It was in storage for about 5 years and took it out and cleaned it up about a month ago and it still sounds great. It's a great starter electric and and you can't beat the styling. I play everything from rock to metal to indie rock, and it sounds great. I had to replace the output jack a few years ago, but aside from that there have been no problems. I may get some new pickups soon, but there's nothing wrong with the factory originals.
