After selling my older Epi Les Paul, I saw that G.C. had this guitar on sale in White, after making a few calls around to the local G.C. there was a long lead time. I was told that it could be had in the Cherry finish pretty quick, but it was more money. G.C sent a $100. coupon through the email and I jumped on order it. I ordered it through a NH store as to avoid the 6.25 sales tax in my State. So with the coupon and no sales tax, I saved $175.00 including the case. This guitar in the Cherry finish is impressive. This is a nice guitar, it sounds great not plugged in, which usually indicates it's going to sound great plugged in, and it does. It's a little big and heavy, as can be expected, but not unyielding, get a good wide strap and have a go at the old standards... Hotel California and Stairway to Heaven.. you'll impress your friends and look like a Rock star doing it.

when i found out i needed a new 12 string, and a new 6 string, i immediatley thought double neck.. i first checked out the gibson, only to see its price was through the roof!! then i saw the epiphone, and knew that was the one.. its set up like jimmy page's double neck, and will save you lots of money... this guitar has never let me down, and i recommend it to anyone.

  • Awesome Guitar

As reviewed by Metallica+JimmyPage+JimiHendrix on 3/1/2007

This Guitar is amazing, it has that beautiful Jimmy Page sound and great features, i love playing it without any pedals whatsoever unlike all my other guitars, except distortion pedals, so that you do not have to stop playing and press the button on your amp, the ONLY thing that makes this guitar something to worry about is that it is very delicate and a tiny little bump can get it scratched easily. but great guitar by Epiphone, and much better price than the Gibson, + if you want the Jimmy Page pickup setup, the Epihone already has it, the Gibson doesn't.
