  • Not so fast there buyers.

As reviewed by jay vinton on 12/5/2011

I would have loved to buy this guitar. I had my sights on the rarer Korina version. Some obvious differences for price points are a slab body instead of neckthrough with wings attached as a real firebird. Alnico hummers instead of mini's, which were rather nasally no matter what amp or setting, and the TUNERS. Here is the catch on this guitar. Steinberger tuners. Most say they are better than sliced bread, that's because they bought the things.... They are a very nice design, very nice hardware, very fitting on this style of guitar, but staying in tune would have been a nice thing. Try as I might, regardless of tuner used, they just slip out of tune with a few strums or bends. I was so interested in the guitar and stated my flaw, that the store who knows me, changed the strings just for me to see if they could move it.. No joy. Instant slippage and out of tune. Improve this one aspect, retro grade to regular tuners or similar or get these right and you would have a great guitar.

  • This Guitar is purely amazing...

As reviewed by Erik on 1/25/2008

I just bought my Firebird about 2 weeks ago and all the reviews hold true. The Alnico humbuckers give amazing sound. From hard rock to clean strumming, this guitar never loses its rich tone. If you have a chance to actually come by one of these, don't pass it up.

  • Great Guitar

As reviewed by Cameron on 1/3/2008

I've had this guitar for about 3 months now and it is by far the best sounding guitar i have ever played. It is for experienced and novice players. I suggest it to anyone.
