Great Deal on an Excellent Guitar
The Epiphone Limited Edition G-400 is an excellent guitar for people who want a nice vintage styled SG for a fraction of the cost of it's Gibson counterparts. This guitar first of all, has a very beautiful cherry finish that photos don't do alot of justice for. Couple this with the two Alnico pickups, the Grover tuners, and the Mother of Pearl inlays and you've got a guitar which sounds just fine. Although, depending on one's personal preference, the pickups could be changed out for a pair of better quality ones, plus there are issues with the G string going out of tune on mine . All in all a steal from Epiphone for people who don't have the cash to splurge on a Gibson (Note: If you are buying this from the store, I would suggest changing the strings).

Epiphone SG!!
I bout this guitar a long time ago, right when I started playing guitar and I instantly loved it, but that's because I also didn't know anything about guitars, well now I'm older, better, more experienced, and my opinion is the same. I love this guitar! I have a Very old very amazing Gretsch Semi-Hollow electric guitar that I use most of the time, but when I want a more edgy, heavy kind of sound, I definitely pick up my SG. My first project is to put in new Gibson 66 humbuckers ASAP, and to put in a Bigsby bridge, but other than that, I love it and I wouldn't change anything but the name.

Same sound, but lower price
This is the best epiphone i ever played. It is so flexible you can play any style. The best part is you can get so far up the neck with ease. It sounds the same as a gibson so why pay for a gibson. All your paying for is the name on the head.

ACDC Fans buy this guitar
i bought this guitar a few years ago & the style of the pickups is great. its great for the standard acdc guitar playing but its a fifth of the cost of a gibson. im not going to say that its as good as a gibson but you are getting much more than a fifth of the quality. great guitar i recomend it for any1 who likes hard rock & classic rock. it sounds good with metal but it does not sound as good as a metal guitar. if you play specificly metal & thats it then dont buy this guitar but if you want a durable guitar that can play all types of music at a reasonable cost then this is the guitar for you

beauty
This guitar sounds as good as it looks. A step up from the G 400. The body is a bit thicker. The color is better imo. Comes with Grover tuners. Looks as good as the $1400 Gibson. Sounds very good. Can get many tones from the 2 volume and 2 tone switches. Setup was perfect out the door. Get one before they're gone.

Incredible Deal - Incredible Guitar
Oh, man this is probably one of the least heard of Epiphones, but it is the best epiphone SG out there. And belive me, you can tell this thing was authorised by Gibson. It's just so wonderful.
Oh and BTW... the machine heads... are Grover. No doubt about it, this is one great guitar. Though I'd swap out the pick ups sometime, they're still pretty good. An all around great guitar.

AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have played guita for a little over a year now, and this is the best guitar I've ever played(and I've played a lot believe it or not). My first guitar was a off-brand strat, and this one destroys it. The ONLY complaint i have is that the G-String goes out of tune quite a bit, but who cares?

A Fine Guitar That Looks Legendary
I received this guitar for my 16th birthday this year, & I was impressed with it from the start. I'm a drummer with 8 years of experience & a guitarist with a year & a half of experience. The frets on the neck are all reachable, the strings lie close to the fret board, the guitar will stay in tune for a while, & the finish on the body is very smooth & durable. It has that classic '60s/'70s rock god-look that the likes of Pete Townshend & Angus Young carried. The only negative comment I have is that the guitar is a bit top-heavy, a quality of nearly all SGs, but it is easy to get used to after some playing time.
