Epiphone Les Paul Studio
I just got this guitar last week, and it is unbelievable. There is no feedback whatsoever from my Vox AD50VT. For such a low price, I wasn't expecting the high quality I received. The white is absolutely beautiful and I still cannot get over the physical and electrical quality of this guitar. One last thing that made me extremely happy, was how the neck is not bolt-on. The body, the neck, and the head are all one piece. I highly recommend this guitar to all styles and levels of guitarists.

Epiphone Les Paul Studio
I've been playing for about 2 years now. I'm still very much a novice when it comes to playing. But I do know a good guitar when i see it. I've been lookin for a new guitar to replace my beat up garage sale guitar and I think I'm going to pick this one. I tried it through several amps while I was at the store. Everything from the Vox 15w to the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier. With every amp it delivered a really strong sustaining tone. You can crunch ans shred those powerchords and get the tone you want but not lack on the sound when doing a blazing solo on the high end. The neck feels good and the whole guitar just feels solid. Although, the glossy coating on the neck does get kid of grippy when your hands start to sweat a bit. I play for hours on end and I know how often that happens. All the controls feel nice and strong. I gave 4.5s on features and quality because I feel the lack of binding and trapezoid inlays leaves a bit of a hole in the instrumenbt. I've tried some of the Gibson counterparts and they just feel better overall. But all in all, really nice tone, good feel.

AWESOME!
i had this guitar for about a year and a half now. it is an amazing guitar! i really dont get why gibsons are so much more expensive. it is the same thing as this and with gibson your just paying for the name. i totally suggest this over gibson, its cheaper and better! If u have are starting to play now or u are experienced, this guitar is great for u! get it now!

The weight difference puzzles me.
OK. I'll get right to the point. This guitar weighs three pounds less than the exact same model produce a year ago. I don't know what Gibson is doing with the Epiphone labeled Les Pauls. Are they really using mahogany for the body and back of the neck? or are they using a cheap Chinese substitute? Are they putting hollowed chambers into this instrument? I'd like to know the answer. This guitar doesn't feel substatial enough to be considered a traditional Les Paul (... and yes, I do know the the Les Paul 100's, etc, have thinner bodies. However, I am not writing about these guitars, I am writing about the Alpine White Epiphone Les Paul Studio model.) Use caution in purchasing a guitar that has less density than the traditional Les Paul (if you want to get close to the traditional sound.)

A good TECHNICAL GUITAR
This guitar plays just amazingly but i needed a pedal to get that metal sound i needed to get that metal sound , since i play metal i am a pretty agressive guitar player this guitar is very prone to scratches and finger prints * I GOT THE EBONY
but still i couldnt love this guitar more , every guitar will get scratched and worn so onced i noticed the first few scratches i said screw IT and played it more agressive then ever and it sounded amazing i would highly recomend this guitar , since its a chaimbered guitar you will probly notice it is extremely light and easy to carry , get this guitar you wont regret it

Very Underrated Guitar!!! Great Bang For The Money!!!
I bought mine a little over a month ago at the North Attleboro, Mass. store and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's a Custom Shop Limited Edition. After doing a few tweaks such as adjusting the pickups and string height, I was in awe at just how much sustain these Alnico open coil humbuckers can put out when using distortion. Even when using a clean setting on my Crate GTD 120, they sound very lush and full. The Grover tuners do a great job of keeping this baby in tune also. My only gripe is the Dot Inlays. I do wish that it had Block Inlays but for the price, one can't really complain now, can they? I do reccommend though, that you do go and buy a hardshell case and a heavy duty strap for this guitar when you buy it only because of the weight and also to protect it. All in all, this is a very affordable and great alternative to those of us on a limited budget who can't afford the high prices for a US made Gibson. Well done Epiphone!

Well Made Guitar For The Price!!!
I purchased mine over a week and a half ago at the North Attleboro, Mass. store and was surprised to find that it was a limited custom shop edition, which made buying it that much easier. The only complaints that I had were that the intonation, string height and the pickups needed to be adjusted, which I immediately took care of. Once I did the necessary adjustments, I was blown away at how great this guitar sounded and at how much it stays it tune. I've read complaints where people would complain that the Chinese Epiphone models are not up to par, to which I say "Phooey"! I highly suggest that if you buy this or any new guitar that you either you have a setup yourself or take it to a professional and have it done. Believe me, you won't be sorry. This is one well made instrument. I couldn't find any flaws at all with the frets, wiring, imput jack, 3 way switch, etc. This is a great bargain for the price and will last me a long time. My hat is off to Epiphone for a real made quality guitar. Bravo!!!

HMMMMmmm
So to get to the bottem of this guitar, id have to tell yall my story. I walked into the guitar center closest to my house and the first two guitars i looked at were this guitar, and the gibson version (same exact look excluding the neck yet different pickups). When i first held these guitars the neck or frets felt different in a better way leaning towards this guitar. For one, the E position was closer to the head of the guitar on this epiphone it seemed in a very good way. I played both of these guitars in all of their different sounds from distortion and clean, using both the bridge pickups and neck individually to test the sounds of these guitars. For me the epiphone beat out the gibson with distortion and clean. This was a big shocker for me considering the gibson was much more expensive. BIG SHOCKER :) So this epiphone is most likely the one Im going to get this 4th of july weekend sale. Ive been countering this guitar with the ibanez art 100 (a very good guitar similar price) for a while now. Their both white all throughout and the only difference is the epiphone has 4 knobs controlling the sound, and the ibanez has 3. 4 is better than 3 because you can get a better sound out of this And the epiphone pickguard won me over considering the ibanez didnt have one.

Simply Great!
I just got this today at the North Attleboro Mass. store and I am simply amazed at how much tone this guitar puts out at such a very reasonable price. True, Epiphone did cut some corners such as no Block Inlays or Binding along the edges, etc, but IMO, for $400.00 it's all worth it. This weighs just as much as a regular Les Paul and the White finish is very attractive, while the Grover tuners are a added plus. The pickups put out some serious sustain and are good for both metal and classic rock as far as I'm concerned. The only thing I had to do was to do a slight intonation check and lower the action a bit on the Bass side. Other than that, everything else was just fine. Once I put a new set of strings on it, the Grover tuners did a fine job of keeping it in tune. This a great guitar for the money and is a welcome addition to my arsenal. Well done Epiphone!
