A crossover mando for those who like to go against the grain! The Epiphone Mandobird Electric Guitar with gig bag puts a new twist on the classic Gibson Firebird shape. The Mandobird IV features a custom single-coil pickup and mini Grover tuners. The electric mandolin/guitar combo features a mahogany body, mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, and 14" scale.
I go this mandolin about two years ago for my birthday. It's been my baby ever since. This is probably one of the best mandos I've ever played. thru body stringing gives it killer sustain. Sounds awesome with distortion. I like playing blues, and it sounds great for that.
I got this mandolin about a couple days ago and I am literally in love with it. It's real great to play a vast amount of different genres on. Great tone, great playability, great looks to this little thing too... I can take it pretty much anywhere with me just to jam on when I feel like passing time. To me, that's priceless. And when I plug it in, it delivers.
You'll love this electric mandolin! This is the 4-string version, it also comes with 8. This is a great mando for jam bands, jazz, and other experimental music. It's put together really well, nice finish, great neck, mini Grover tuners, nice frets. It's got one pickup, and one volume and tone control. Easy to use. The sound is really cool. Add some delay, distortion, or other effects and you can really get out some great sounds! A really fun instrument when you're looking for something a little different!
