The Epiphone EDREAD Dreadnought Hardshell Case is a rugged wood case covered in Tolex and featuring padded plush lining, heavy-duty handle, and an accessory compartment. Provides maximum protection.
Ordered this guitar case for my Epiphone Hummingbird guitar and it fits perfectly. The case I received is black with brown trim and brown handle. I am very comfortable using this case for my regular travels...it's a very solid product.
Overall, this is a very nice case, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an Epiphone-branded case. Note that the pic doesn't quite match the case, though. The surface is actually quite smooth, not dimpled/textured, and the trim on the edge of the lid is tan, which is a little weird. At any rate, it has/does everything you'd expect in a hardshell case. It seems to be very well constructed, and the inside is a grey and plushy, yet fits surprisingly snugly. In fact, it's tight enough that I worry a little about the electronics (knobs, slides, etc.) that stick out from the side of the body. The storage comparment is roomy enough for several CDs, capos, pick holders, strings, whatever. My only complaint is that it's a bit heavy.
Fits my Masterbilt AJ-500M PERFECTLY. No movement at all. This is not the correct picture, as previous reviewer wrote edges are brown / tan which isn't very attractive. Heavy!
