This guitar has been in my possession for only a few days now and I have fallen in love. I love the tone on the neck pickups on this guitar. They put through a very warm tone, very good for jazz and blues. I feel like this instrument is also versatile for all types of music. The guitar feels great to play, it is built very well. For the price, you cannot beat this guitar especially with the extra savings!!

  • I'd Buy Another One

I have a Strat, and a Tele which I have not played since I got this a month ago. I would not say this is better than either of those much more expensive guitars, just that this is one of those few pleasant surprises we get once in a while. I love the playability, sounds, and the fact that the guitar stays in tune like my others. For the money I can't imagine finding anything better.

I was shopping for a semi-Hollow. Many Trips to the Local GC. None of the mid priced Semi's grabed me. The Epi's, Ibanes, Gretch's, all nice Guitars, 400-800 range, was not thrilled enough to go to my Wallet. With the DOT's it seemed that the New ones were set up poorly. Then one day I go in and in the used Section there sat a beautiful Natural DOT. The pervious owner had gone to the expense of getting a proper set up and a Deluxe case. Plugged in and about 30 seconds later I knew this was the one. Plays Awesome! Run it through my VOX AC15 with a touch of Trem, it's all sweet, through my VT80 on high drive it absolutely screams. This is least expensive guitar in my collection and it more then holds its own with my American and Japanese Fenders, and my Gibson Les Paul, it's that good. Maybe I got lucky and found the perfect DOT, I think so. If you're shopping them take your time, find the right one, if do it will be worth every penny!
