Solid woods, ultra-fast neck, integrated electronics, and the signature of an alt-rock legend.

The Dave Navarro Signature acoustic-electric guitar features beautiful solid woods on the body, and high-end electronics inside, to produce solid tone, whether playing acoustic or plugged in. The Epiphone guitar is built on the popular dreadnought body design. The broad shoulders and deep guitar body create an ideal sound chamber, producing thick, full-balanced tone, with plenty of volume. The cutaway body design provides comfort when accessing the upper range on the Dave Navarro Signature guitar's ebony fretboard.

The solid Sitka spruce top, paired with solid mahogany back and sides produce a great deal of projection, with a nice blend of acoustic brightness, as well as plenty of mid-range presence for a full sound. The Epiphone Dave Navarro Signature guitar's glued neck joint keeps the neck in place, so you don't lose any of that sweet tone.

The SlimTaper D-shape neck and 12" radius add speed and comfort to your shredding, while lessening player exhaustion. The ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge, and bone nut produce some of the clearest tone possible, so you can hear your notes with crystal clarity.

At the heart of the Epiphone Dave Navarro Signature guitar is the integrated electronics, letting you plug in and amplify quickly and painlessly. The Nanoflex pickup is capable of conveying all the harmonic and organic dimensions of the acoustic sound spectrum. NanoFlex pickups produce an open sound, conveying natural harmonic overtones. Shadow developed a unique technology that amplifies and shields directly at the pickup. This innovative technology keeps loss of sound at an absolute minimum and guarantees a signal that is completely free of noise. The acoustic-electric guitar's eSonic preamp includes master volume, high EQ, low EQ, anti-feedback phase reversal switch, chromatic tuner, stereo output, and dynamics controls to dial in your ideal amplified guitar voice.

Grover tuners provide hours of stress-free playing, so you don't have to worry about keeping your guitar in tune. These tuners provide precision. The beautiful polyurethane finish will only get better with age, and nickel hardware adds an element of luxurious shine to the impressive Epiphone Dave Navarro Signature guitar.

  • Awesome "Blackbird"

As reviewed by Sarah Hunt _ on 2/22/2013

This is a great guitar for the money. It's worth a lot more than what they're charging ($600 at Guitar Center). You just don't see solid top and solid bottom guitars that go for $600. I almost always use it for my club rock gigs and leave my Gibsons and Martins at home. Although ,I prefer my Martins and Gibsons for a more intimate evironment like a coffee house. The playability of "Jane" is awesome. It has a superfast "low profile neck" and great action. Epiphone supplies a truss rod wrench ,so I actually lowered the action myself which was very easy to do. The electronics are awesome and the built in tuner is convenient and I haven't had much trouble with feedback. The looks of this guitar are stunning in person. Under the lights the Blackbird and the "unicursal hexigram" fretboard markers really glow and I've recieved many compliments on this guitar's beauty. One thing I can tell you for sure is that the photos you see in this advertisment still have the plastic covering over the pickguard. It's really easy to tell once you own one. It should look Black, not grayish. Also you can see the rough edges around the pickguard.Once you remove the plastic it will be smooth and nice. As far as value.... with all the high end apointments like the abalone rosette and the genuine mother of pearl inlays,I could see people paying over $1000 easilly.

  • Better Than Expected

As reviewed by BRUNO JERAMINAS on 8/30/2012

I bought this guitar in February 2012. I needed an acoustic electric and wanted a cutaway to reach the higher frets. I was pleasently surprised when I started to play this instrument. The sound was better than expected. The lows were not as deep as I would have wanted them, but this is an epiphone not a Gibson. When you plug this sucker into an acoustic amp is when this puppy shines. You could make it sing and cry. You could make it grunt and thump. This guitar was definetly made to be played through an amp. I have had this guitar for about six months now. It's a keeper. The Grovers keep it in tune. The preamp has plenty of controls to tweak it were you want it.

  • One of the Best Acoustics I have Ever Played

As reviewed by Tyme on 4/25/2011

This Guitar is just amazing plugged in or not. I mostly play this guitar unplugged and love it just as much as it is when it is plugged in. The tone for this guitar are great and the pickups for this guitar are some of the best iv heard. It alows harmonics to be heard as loud and clear as you want them which is unheard of in a lot of acoustic-electrics. The action it was shipped with is great and alows for blues and metal players to go up and down the neck really fast. It also feels great for Jazz this is just an all around great guitar for any style.THIS GUITAR ALSO STAYS INTUNE GREATT. the installed tuner in the guitar alows for great accurate tuning and the guitar itself the knobs are locked in nice so they stay intune.I barely have to ever tune except when i want to change tuning. The guitar itself looks amazing wit the black mahogany word going down the guitar down to the dark line drawings on the pick guard. This guitar always catches my eyes with its darker lool which DAVE NAVARO would make hahaha, Down to the inlays of which look almost like pentagrams its just a neat and great sounding guitar i highly recommend. It an epiphone that plays with the same quality as a gibson.
