The Eminence Patriot Screamin' Eagle 12" Guitar Speaker is a great club speaker for American blues and rock. Clear, articulate tone with screamin' top end and tight bass response. Perfect for a one, 2, or 4x12" open- or closed-back speaker cab. 50 RMS handling. 8 or 16 ohm impedance.
Eminence recommends the Screamin' Eagle for the Marshall MG412 cabinet, as a replacement for the Marshall MG 412, Fender FM 412 (16 Ohm) cabinets, and the Marshall MG50DFX & MG250DFX combo amplifiers. The Eminence Texas Heat 12" speaker is recommended as an alternate replacement to the above mentioned components.

Running in 1x12 closed birch cab. I am extremely impressed with this speaker. Clarity of tone, articulate, smooth, bite but not harsh. Tight bass. Great for blues/classic rock/hard rock. Fantastic with my Hardwire Valve Distortion. I was running it with a Vox AC4TV 4 watt head. Smooth violin, glassy clean, chime, full bodied. Playing a strat with SD Hot rails in bridge and American strat single coil in all positions. Great country slapback can be had. Very versatile. Absolutely love it. Eminence is top notch American Made too.
The speaker on my Fender Blues Deluxe had finally broken. I actually contacted Eminence via email and asked if they offered a speaker that could replicate the sound of a Fender amp and perhaps even provide me with some more clarity and jangle in my tone. Screamin Eagle was their suggestion and I must say that it is much better than the stock speaker. Its very bright and sparkly when clean. If you play with a lot of distortion you may end up turning the treble down to compensate from the highs that this speaker puts out. It doesn't seem to break up too easily so I'm not sure if this speaker is good for amp overdrive, however I only use overdrive and fuzz pedals so its not a big deal. If you are looking for a clean Fender sound (glassy, sparkly, whatever) I would say this is a good bet. If you are unsure just email Eminence and tell them what you are looking for. They will answer.
