Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I read a lot of reviews and decided to go for it and use it in my Fender Frontman 25R. Turn out to be a big winner! I use it mostly for my studio works and the sound is so much richer than the stock speaker that came with this amp. Even my lovely wife can tell the big differences. I say YES! Get this speaker and you will be HAPPY you did! ;-)

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Got a bit of volume in fact u can probably gig with the xd with this upgrade and a set of quality tubes. I almost exclusively play clean. It keeps that clean fender sound.

      Great Clean Tone

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Like others here I picked this up for my Fender Frontman 25R. Now, I am a bit of a tone snob and I don't for a minute feel that the results should be compared to a Blues Jr. This will not turn your solid state amp into a tube amp, but if you're like me and appreciate the pure palate that a solid state amp provides this is ABSOLUTELY the way you should go. If you pick up a Frontman 25R, add this speaker, and warm it up with an Electro Harmonix Soul Food you just got yourself some GREAT tone for under $300.00 (tax included). Unfortunately the Frontman wasn't quite built to handle the volume boost this speaker gives you so I had to get creative to stop it from buzzing (a glue gun to the plastic tabs at the bottom of the reverb and some poster putty between the grille and the baffle). I also found that it makes my higher overdrive sounds a little too trebly (but what's this, a tone control? right on my guitar? problem solved!), but I prefer a darker lead tone that's more Clapton than SRV so some people may not consider that a problem. If you need a quieter small gig amp (or especially if you're at a church that doesn't appreciate extra volume) this speaker will satisfy you and you'll be able to lug your lightweight solid state amp around and silence the tone snobs who think tube is the only way to go.

      What a difference!

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Picked up a Fender Frontman 25R a couple of years ago when GC had them on sale. It sounded good enough out of the box but other reviews I've read said upgrading this amp with this speaker made a huge difference in the amp performance. Many of the reviews that I read on the speaker itself said the same thing, that this speaker is a great upgrade for this amp. Well, it most certainly is! When practicing at lower volumes, this speaker and amp combo sound pretty good. But start cranking up the volume and it's VERY surprising! This thing gets loud.....and it seems the more volume you add, the better it sounds. In short, buy it. You'll love it!

Made my superchamp a force to contend

      By Werner

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Replaced the stock speaker on my x2 superchamp amp. I googled this prior and based my choice on reviews of this rajin Cajun. The reviews were dead on. This speaker has the force to handle all I throw at it, including my LP's and even my SG. This upgrade made my superchamp quite a feisty amp to plug in. I would recommend this to everybody who is considering a superchamp upgrade. I already upgraded my Blues junior with the WG 65 watt speaker which made a huge difference. Now my mission with two great amps that were stock mal-nourished in the speaker dept., is complete :-)

      Just Right

      By John McFarland

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

I received the speaker in 3 days I believe. It was easy to install in my Fender Frontman 25. It replaced the stock speaker and it seems to be noticibaly more powerful than the stock Fender speaker. To me though most small amps perform better when you crank them up to 6 or above. anyway I play a smaller more open and less crowded venue and it just seems to give me a clearer and not as wimpy of a sound. It seems to make the gain have a stronger more fuller bluesy sound. Overall even though I am not a sound engineer; I would have to rate this speaker definitely better than a stock speaker in a small Amp probably of any manufacturer.

      It works...

      By Ronald Moses

      from Pleasanton, CA.

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

Not sure what all the hype is on this speaker, it sounds fine, nothing to put a big "wow" sticker on it though. I have a very old 50 watt full of dust 1986 Fender Harvard Reverb II which had never been cleaned out since its creation and it has travelled all over the west coast with me since then. The amount of dust in this box was just unreal when I took it apart; I mean how could this beast still function? My amp still worked prior to replacing the speaker, but I was hoping for a vast improvement of sound quality and found all of these reviews on this particular speaker and thought why not spend the money. At first comparison I noticed that the Fender speaker has a smaller cone than the Rajon Cajon and obviously speakers over the past 25 years have improved so visually comparing the two, one would think that the Rajon Cajon is newer and should help the sound. The new speaker fit perfectly without any modifications to the amp which was awesome and the existing clips as well fit nicely. After the amp was totally cleaned up (and looking quite well; so happy I have kept it all of these years), it sounds good, but I can't say it really made an improvement to the amp sound than when the stock Fender speaker was in there. I sort of wish I would have stuck with Fender and bought a Fender speaker only because it stays true to the product; but that doesn't mean a new Fender Speaker would give me a better result. Hope this helps...

      Great Speaker

      By steve koppelkam

      from brookfield, WI

Comments about Eminence Patriot Ragin' Cajun 10" 75W Guitar Speaker:

The speaker feels heavy duity so im not afraid of it pushing it to hard which is nice since i like to play hard. great clairity and response. better bass in comparison to the speaker i replaced in my Frontman 25R, though i had to keep the bass to prevent clipping. the highs werent as pronounced as i expected, but i believe a lot of that is due to my amp and not the speaker. All and all its a great speaker. when my one 10" puts out almost the same quality of sound as my friends 4x12" cab there's no way it can be bad.
