The advances made since 1966 have been significant and even in the lifetime of this range, the Eminence philosophy of "making a better speaker for less" holds true. In particular, detail changes in the voice coil assemblies have increased thermal efficiency. As a result, power ratings have improved by up to 100% or more in some cases.

Eminence LF models are specially designed with extended Xmax to deliver more bass than standard models and provide 'a true woofer' for three-way applications. Designed for high power bass in sound reinforcement systems, bass guitar combos, club system applications, and stage monitors.
