Nice full sounding

I picked up a Texas Heat to put in my Blues Jr and am really impressed with the sound. Some say it is a darker sound but I would call it a mellow sound. It has nice full sound to it, almost like I have twin 12" speakers. This is the second Eminenece Speaker I have purchased and I have been very happy with both.

Awesome sound dynamics

I too own a Blues JR NOS, Tweed which I've had now for 10 months. I actually purchased the amp at GC with out playing through it first- I know, I know... To make a long story short and some BillM mods on the amp with an addition to this speaker I now have the sound I was looking for to compliment the music I play. The Texas Heat added more over all depth to my sound that I didn't have before. In addition, help removed the disturbing "ice Picky" nuance. Don't get me wrong I play regular through this amp prior to this modification, i.e., every night- personal practice, 1-2 times a week band practice at peak volumes. So the stock speaker was broken in. I can't to hear what the amp will sound like after this speaker is broke in because as it currently sits, sounds really good. You do have to tweek your Bass, Treble, and Mid settings because this speaker does boost the low end. Over all? Love this Speaker!!

Great tone for replacement

I blew the speaker on a small crate practice amp and decided to replace the speaker with a texas heat patriot. The difference was amazing. Keep in mind a quality speaker is the last link in your signal chain, and is too often overlooked. Do yourself a favor and upgrade if you think you are suffering in sound quality. The texas heat is not the best sounding speaker I have ever heard, but for this price it is absolutely the best valued speaker I have come across. 5 Stars.

valveking finally useable!

Awesome tone for my peavey valveking 112! Totally changed this amp from muddy, to clear as a bell. Love it!

Awesome speaker

I was looking for the perfect speaker as a replacement in my Blues Junior. The speaker is nicely balance allowing the shimmering highs while still producing nice mids with just the right amount of lows.
