Replaced speaker in my Peavey 118 passive sub and was a great investment. Have been running bass guitar, vocals, and music thru it and has a nice round bottom to it. Haven't even had a chance to match it to a power amp that will push it the way it should so that will be a real earth-shaking event. Worlds better than the original speaker so if you can, make the investment and upgrade. Glad I didn't pay more for a higher end speaker, this one sounds ready for anything I'm ready to throw at it.
I have 4-18" Scoop cabinets loaded with Omega Pros and the bass response is unbelievable. The scoops will give you the floor shakin bass that ported boxes fall short in. I would recommend these to anyone lacking chest pounding bass.
