I used the eminence beta 15A to replace a blown out woofer in one of my kustom kpc215h speakers and the eminence beta actually sounded alot better than the orginal kpc215h woofers and also very easy to install. I also thought that it was a little pricy but worth it.
According to fliptops.net and talkbass.com, these are THE drivers for old Ampeg bass cabs (these or the Delta 15a). I dropped a pair of these into my old Ampeg B25B cab. I'm very happy with the results. Solid, thick, meaty tone. I'm running them as a four ohm load, my head puts out 350W at four ohms, and I can't seem to make the drivers fart. They handle it very nicely.
