Overview

Gauges 013, .017, .025, .032, .042, .053.

Elixir Nanoweb HD Light Strings have a bolder high end and fuller low end with a balanced voice across all the strings. This was achieved by blending the plain steel strings of a medium gauge set with the wound strings of a light gauge set, bridged by a custom .025 third string. The increased tension of the treble strings improves their articulation. The interaction of the tension profile with the soundboard also adds to the harmonic content of the bass strings. The result is a new phosphor bronze tone that offers a balanced voice across all the strings and a light, comfortable hand feel.

Also available in 80/20 (see SKU#J04532).

Sound amazing

By MATTHEW

from los angeles, ca

The nanoweb coating decreases string noise, lasts forever, and is easier on your fingers. couple that with a set of strings that sounds great and makes small body guitars sound full, and you got yourself a sweet set of strings!

Great Tone

By John Rich

from Fountain, CO

I have played Phosphor Bronze strings for years. I also always upgraded the first string to a .013 because I liked how it feels and sounds. The Elixir HD Phosphor Bronze light strings make the two guitars I put them on sound the best they have ever sounded. Tone is subjective of course, but I have changed to Elixir HD Lights and agree with their assessment of the sound and feel of the strings. All six strings sound great, but the top three improved an almost unbelievable amount. Try them.

Finally! Acoustic Tone

By Von Martt

from Finger Lakes area, New York

For years I've been buying and installing a .013 and .017 on 1 and 2 and now this is so great to be able to buy a set all together with a added bonus of the 3rd string being .024 [just slightly heavier]. As a fingerstyle player this HD set is perfect and strumming chords seem cleaner. all I can say it's about time...Thanks!

Great strings so far

By Mike Viles

from Bend, OR

I have been using Daddario EXP16 light for 3-4 years with no problems but I was interested how the heavier gauge strings of the Elixir HD lights string worked. I put them on my Breedlove C25SMe and I am impressed so far (2 weeks). The trebles and bass strings seem a little better balanced. Something else I notice is less tuning issues when using a capo. The treble strings are not as sensitive to how I put the capo on.
