Elixir Acoustic Guitar Strings are covered with an ultrathin, space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only. This leaves the all-important winding-to-winding-to-core space free from the fear of the enemies of tone!
Nanoweb coating permits strings with the feel, bright tone, and punch of traditional guitar strings. Elixirs are the first major innovation in strings in over forty years and they deliver what they promise: great tone and long life no matter what you put them on or how often you play.
Most players report that Elixir Strings keep sounding great 3 to 5 times longer than ordinary strings.

Elixir Nano Web strings are my favorite. They are nice and bright and last a long time. The coating is so thin that they don't even feel like coated strings. I use Elixirs on all my acoustics
I have a Seagull acoustic guitar. I've tried 3 different sets and brands of strings on my guitar. The Elixer Nanoweb Medium strings sound the best on my guitar. I tried Martin, GHS, and Ernie Ball, none compared to the Elixer Nanoweb.
I have used these strings for years and can say with confidence they are the best. I use size 13 gauge strings on my acoustic because of the sweet lower end tones I get from a heavy string. I play a lot of blues and some pretty intense indie rock on my guitar and wail pretty hard. Still these strings easily last me a year after continuous play even taking it out on tour for a couple weeks. Once they get fuzzy just change them out and I'm good for another year. Get them! You will not be disappointed. I know I refuse to use any other strings.
I remember going to Total Entertainment in Daytona yesterday, I was looking for Coated strings being I couldn't go there every week. These are the kind of strings I like, a bassy overall tone with beautiful sounding highs (the thinnest strings), sounds like a grand piano... I think that's how a good pair of strings should sound. I believe I may have found my favored tone I was looking for!
these strings are pretty good. Not to exaggerate, but these strings are very good, but they won't change the sound of your guitar. It will keep the tone clean and the strings last very long without losing their tone, but they wont make your guitar soung much higher or lower. BUT they are very good in that they last long and feel good. The sleek polyweb coating isnt visible on these strings either, so they dont take away from the guitar.
I just bought these strings the other day and re-strung my acoustic last night with these strings. I havent re-strung my guitar in a long time, was tired of the dull and ugly feel my strings were giving me. When i put these on last night and simply strummed out one chord. I fell in love all over again. They Feel Beautiful and they Sound beautiful. They give off a wonderful buzz with each note and the sound fills the room. I definitely recommend these strings. Love them and Ill never buy anything different from here on out.
