I have a few of the Elixir Cables, the longest being 20 feet. I was worried that I might have some signal loss with the 20 footer but it was the opposite! The sound was pure and clear, way better than the other cables I was using. I've tried Gibson, Fender, Planet Waves, Whirlwind, Monster, and some other cheaper brands. This is the best of the bunch so far. It is much thicker than those other cables, which I hope translates into durability. The ends are easy to grip and really solid. It changed the sound of my guitar for the better. Highly recommend.
I did some research to try and find out just how much of a difference a cable makes and found some intersting information. Signal gets lost pretty quick in as little as three feet. I looked at the "high line" stuff and these kept up. They are pretty new on the market, but I also found that the company involved with Elixir in this has been making cables for all kinds of applications for a very long time. Knowing this, these are great and they are only going to get better! My tone def wife could hear the difference! Subtle, but noticeable. Get the true voice from your instrument at a price of about half of what you could spend.
