These are the best acoustic guitar strings i have used. They may be pricey to some people but they are well worth the money i noticed when i changed from my factory strings to Elixers Light polyweb strings. the difference was night and day.
I have played these for years on my Taylor and unless something with magical powers comes along, I will keep playing these. Some people find them too bright but the best part is, they last a long time. They are very crisp and bright when first installed but quickly warm up. And they stay that way! for a long time! I have purchased over a hundred of these packs of strings, honestly (i collect the boxes and keep count). They are all I play and I have no issues with them. They are more expensive per pack but you save money thanks to the long use you get out of them. Also buying these bulk packs save considerable cash. Taylor guitars chooses elixer to make their guitars sound their best. If Taylor likes them, thats good enough for me
I won't put any other strings on my guitar except Elixir's. I play my acoustic guitar almost everyday and these strings last FOREVER!! When shopping around for strings, I was a little turned off by the slightly higher price, but it's definitely worth the money. These strings are way more comfortable to play on. They work with your fingers, not against them. Most importantly though, is that these strings produce far superior tone quality than any other strings I've ever used.
