  • Great example of "you get what you pay for".

    There's a reason Taylor guitars come from the factory strung with Elixirs...they are quite simply the best sounding, and the highest quality, strings on the market. The "polyweb" construction does result in the strings lasting at least twice as long as regular strings (if not a little longer). An unexpected benefit, is that the coating provides some protection against fret wear...it's polyweb vs. the frets, as opposed to a metal string vs. the frets. When playing on island venues, I've also found that the coating prevents the corrosion that was occuring seemingly overnight, due to the unavoidable exposure to the elements (such as high humidity).

  • Poor Man's Strings

    I don't really have the money to buy a Martin Or Taylor. A buddy of mine told me about these strings, so I bought some-and I was blown away! They made my $100 Squier sound like a $1,000 Martin! And I have had them on it for almost a year now and they sound almost as good as the day I put them on. I'll never buy another string for my acoustic. Thanx, Elixir.

    I got these strings about a year ago and they have not broken yet. These strings have such a loud,rich and vibrant sound. Their very durable and have a great quality sound to them. Get these strings there great!
